  1. Holiday Inn and Hilton Garden Inn are right next to the arena and bars/restaurants. The Best Western is a drive, but usually Sioux fans there and I believe the teams stays there.

You will see Sioux fans everywhere by the arena. Popular options before the game are Buffalo Wild Wings and Bluebricks. After, those places are fun, and if you are young, there is a club called "The Haze" that seems popular. There is a gentlemans club named Metlers, and a place like Suite 49 called "Pub 500" that is good for a postgame drink and app. All of these places are around the arena. Just walk around and look for the green and white and say "Go Sioux!".

    THANKS!!

  2. Does anyone know where they put the UND tickets (the tickets obtained through The Ralph)?

I am not quite sure. My brother said last year that alot of sioux fans were in that area.

Where is everyone staying at in Mankato? And where are some fun places to go before/after the games?

  3. Where are everyone's tickets for Mankato? I thought I remembered the visiting section being around 101/201/102/202 so that's where I got mine. I hope that's right.

The last time I was in Mankato, I was threatened by a hillbilly for making fun of the Landcows. Nothing says good father like swearing at an opposing fan in front of your three year old son.

It's great how Ticketmaster doesn't have a seating chart for hockey. The major event that the Alltel Center hosts and they don't have a seating chart for it. What a bunch of hicks.

mine are 103 friday night and 102 saturday. i have never been to the mankato series before, pretty excited to see it though! i heard its one of the best to go to

  4. I'm on board with Trunk Monkey, and I don't think that makes one a poor hockey fan. Sure you might see some good hockey, but its not the same without the team you love. Heck, I live in the twin cities, and I probably won't go if the Sioux aren't there. CC, Denver, SCSU?? No interest in committing the time.

Tonight is the biggest game of the season. Everyone in the locker room needs to look in the mirror and then look at the guys sitting next to them. Look at the Sioux crest, look at the fans. Walk through the hall of fame on the way down to the locker room, look at Taylor's dad, look at Phil Sykes and Jim Archibald, Dan Brennan, Coach Eades, Craig Ludwig, Mark Taylor, Doug Smail, Tony Hrkac, Bob Joyce, Ian Kidd, Eddie Belfour, look at Jeff Panzer, Jason Blake, Lee Goren, Mike Commodore, Karl Goehring. Look at those pictures and decide if you want to be remembered as great or remembered as a disappointment. You only get one chance at greatness. We screwed up last night, big time, let it sink in, hopefully you learned something about yourselves. You play like you played in the third period and Michigan or New Hampshire or CC will light you up for a half dozen goals. One chance. Every shift, every shot, every check, every foot race, remember that. This is the last home game ever for Rylan, Radke, JPL and Bina. You know they're going to give it and bring it. How about the rest of you. Who's gonna be a hero. Who's gonna be a winner. Let the seniors give a stick salute for a win tonight, not a last lap of disappointment.

    My lines for tonight:

    Oshie, Kozek, Duncan

    Vande, Kaip, Watkins

    Martens, Miller, Frattin

    Zajac, Radke, Malone

Not hating on Lapoint, but Marto in, Lapoint out on D.

It's tough to change what's working, but I would try to get Chorney out with the first forward line as much as possible. He clicks with Osh and Duncs better than any other forward/D chemistry we have.

WOW nice pep talk, maybe you should be in the locker room with dave
