  1. And rightfully so! There isn't much difference between general public Gopher fans and general population thugs at Riker's Island!

what about us general public Sioux fans?? I love going to this series, just bummed my family and I couln't get tickets

  2. The number of gopher fans at the Ralph last year had to be the lowest that I have seen in years. What makes you think this series will be any different?

it will be worse. the REA pretty much put a stop to the general public getting tickets to this series....

  3. Thanks for the replies so far. It's been since the . . . mid-'90's . . . since I've been to Sugars. I've heard it's pretty fun. Do they have food and I believe they're fairly close to the Super 8?

They have some pretty good food. I am not sure of the hotels surrounding it, but its within walking distance to several. The bus leaves a half hour before the game starts. You have to show up and get a ticket for the bus, so 45-60 minutes before game time is a good idea. Just ask the waitress or bartender for a tickets.

  4. No one cheers in our section except our row and when our friends at the end stand up to cheer the guy and gal behind him tell them to sit down.

last year at the new hampshire series, some couple next to me tapped me on my shoulder midgame. they had to inform me that when i leaned forward (to see play in the corner) they couldnt see and that i needed to stop that. ridiculous.

  5. Posted this in the Road Trip thread a few days ago, thought more would see it in this one:

Won't be in Duluth, but will be in Fargo over the weekend.

Wondering about a good bar with many Sioux fans in Fargo?

I know the Buffalo Wild Wings by the airport gets the games, but last time I was there for a game (last year) it seemed like I was the only Sioux fan there. I had to practically argue with them to keep the game on when Ultimate Fighting came on. Anything better in Fargo?

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Tailgators is the best place to go. lots of sioux fans (usually) and you can actually hear the game.
