  1. Saw Four Winds play a few times when Tony Ironheart was on the team, he was a smooth player, fun to watch.

I always enjoyed watching New Town's Perry White Owl....Imagine if they had a 3 point line.

  2. If you're going to lose, I'd rather do it now and use this game/series as a learning experience to get better. Maybe we needed this game to serve as a wake-up call. There are so many facets of our game that can be improved upon. Hak is a good coach and has a good staff. If we play as a team and solidify the lines we'll be just fine.

  3. Honest question:

Did North Dakota ever send anyone to Standing Rock that had any real negotiating power? Nothing against the ND State Board of Education but we should've had Dorgan, Hoeven, or Conrad meeting with them. We had three years to get an agreement. Did we even try until it was to late?

    Just thinking outside the box:

Sioux County (Fort Yates, ND) is the 7th poorest county in the US. How hard would it have been for UND to offer a $500 scholarship to kids that held a "C" average?

    Poverty rate: 41.3%

Poverty rate of children under 18: 51.8%

  4. Eddie's kid walked-on for the Mavs.

    Mavericks add two walk-ons

UNO's roster to open 2011-12 includes walk-ons Dayn Belfour and Zach Mausoff.

Belfour is a 6-foot, 193-pound goalie from Morden, Manitoba. He most recently played in the USHL with both Fargo and Waterloo during the 2009-10 season. That year, he went 8-2-4 with a 3.06 goals-against average and a .895 save percentage. Belfour is the son of Hall of Fame goalie Ed Belfour, who helped Blais win an NCAA championship at North Dakota in 1987 before beginning his 16-year NHL career.

  5. It's my understanding that you could lose your "priority points" if you sell tickets for over face value, right? Check out this link on the NCAA site.....

    http://www.ncaa.com/info/icehockey-men/d1/tickets

Click the Package Link and then the View Tickets link......$700 each? WTF? These a-holes are telling us to change our name?

Edit: They must have read my post, it's not active any longer. They were selling center ice seats, rows 1-4 for $700 each. It looked like a third party company (Prime Sport) but it was linked (thus approved) to the ticket portion of the NCAA site.
