I think it's only fair to point out that the Forum printed this from an "anonymous source." This could all be BS and it could fly in the face of the Forum tomorrow. They didn't waste any time getting it to all of the Forum owned papers, as the Dickinson Press's website has it, and even spells the word "Sioux" wrong. Hopefully I'm right, but I am very nervous.

why would it? it's a practice field...went by tonight and you can see the "ND" logo at midfield - now we can let all the Notre Dame fans pile on...go ahead...we're used to it!
The interlocking ND at midfield looks badass, I also noticed when I drove by last night that you can see the words "Fighting Sioux" underneath the ND. Hopefully that keeps the winless Irish off our backs. Sell out the AL!!! GO SIOUX!!

i am worried about the # of points the D has let happen this year. I will say Sioux win, but Augustana will get quite a few points....still, UND will pull it out...
Ill say:
UND 48 (6 touchdowns, 2 field goals)
AUG 30 (3 touchdowns, 3 field goals)
Can we please sell this place out this weekend?!?!!? There is no reason Fighting Sioux football isn't packing the walls of the Alerus Center. Tell your friends to get to the game on Saturday!!!! Let's Go Sioux!!!

Glad I could help. I never said you had to agree with me, I'm just stating what I think after seeing all three of NDSU's games this year and watching them very objectively. Actually cheering for you bison. If that makes me a homer than so be it. But either way glad I could make your day and I'll be in the dome Oct. 6th. Maybe you could come up and join me this weekend at the Alerus for our homecoming and than give me your opinion after only seeing one game.
Don't Bison fans have their own board to post on?? I thought they were over the poor Fighting Sioux.

I thought it was a pretty fun game. Attendance was better than I expected, and the game was a pretty decent pace for an exhibition. Stafford played a good deal of shifts, but didn't look 100%. Goering warmed the bench just fine, and Vanek got booed during introductions. There was really no penalties or stoppage, which made the game just a hair under 2 1/2 hours. There were a few missed goals and posts hit by both teams, which added some excitement. If Parrish would have gotten the in-between-the-legs goal, the game would have been amazing and would be SC Top Plays worthy. Plus I got a few autographs from Brad Bombardier, so all in all a great NHL exhibition game at the Ralph. I can't wait until OCT 7th!!!!!
I had fun, probably because of the beers, but hey, it was a good time. My girlfriend got to go on the ice during the first intermission with a chance to win a Sioux jersey!! This being my first Wild game, I will definetely go to more down in St. Paul this winter!
