  1. Chay Genoway is listed on the roster for this camp and they have him down as wearing #43.

The 2011 Wild Development Camp will run July 12-17 and will feature two scrimmages that are open to the public and free of charge on Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17 at Xcel Energy Center. Both scrimmages will start at 11 a.m. Gate One will open at 10:30 a.m. both days. The first 1,000 fans Saturday will receive a complimentary Wild Devin Setoguchi t-shirt and all fans can register to win a Devin Setoguchi autographed jersey. The first 1,000 fans at Sunday's scrimmage will receive a complimentary Wild Dany Heatley t-shirt and all fans can register to win a Dany Heatley autographed jersey.

  2. Many of the SCSU fans here in St. Cloud that I've talked with wonder if they are being snubbed because of their former presidents mission to get our Sioux name taken away. They also wonder if their protesters they had at our games here had anything to do with it. Many believe that Gino will go to bat for them and try and get them into this new conference. What should I tell them?

  3. I'm also in the camp that believes Hextall will be back for his senior year. I'm hoping that the staying four years in the program like this last bunch of seniors did will become the norm at UND. However I do know that when we are blessed with players like Toews they don't stay for four years. With training starting up again on April 25th I'm hoping that a lot of these questions marks will be answered.

And for the one that started this thread if it's found that Hextall is back....."Dewey Defeats Truman."

  4. Here is what I've been able to uncover. Still missing a few.

    SEPT.30-OCT.1

    JAN.20-21 @ SCSU

    JAN.27-28 WISCONSIN

    FEB.3-4

    MAR.2-3 MANKATO

  5. Goldy always gets in my way at the Final Five, and it is scary how the U of MN fans around me follow his antics. The puck can be in play directly in front of them, but they watch Goldy and tell him to "spin his head".

Linda Blair suffered from the same thing years ago. Head spinning around. Perhaps someone could recommend a good priest to him for his problem.

  6. The way it appears to me too that we would play in the evening on Friday. However I'll wait for Brad from the Herald (the voice of reason and wisdom) to share with us what's going on. I heard the Gopher announcers saying the same thing wanting to avoid the Sioux.

UND in two over Mich. Tech

    DU in three

UNO in two Dean has them ready

UMD in three SCSU has been so up and down . Been playing well but many of those wins came against Wisconsin, and Tech. Sunday's game goes to multiple overtimes

MN in three over a tough AA team

    CC over Wisconsin in two

  7. If SCSU does wear there blacks.... I saw it coming when we did it back in Dec. when they played up in GF. SCSU does not have an original idea in their head. More motivation for our guys.

SCSU will be wearing black throw back jerseys on Saturday of next week when they play Wisconsin. I think someone on uscho was trying to get something started when they posted that yesterday.

    Sioux sweep!

  9. In looking at the SCSU schedule I just counted and I've seen them play 14 games so far this season. The one thing I have noticed is they perform better against teams that don't do a lot of checking. Advantage North Dakota. I see us sweeping them in the Concrete Canyon.

    * I just called the ticket office and they said "there are quite a few tickets still available for Friday night and very few for Saturday."

  10. I disagree. At least to how they usually play the Sioux. We usually wind up winning but it's not easy and we haven't looked as good doing so.

I agree with you Whistler. I also checked and AA has gotten points nearly every weekend this season except this one. They certainly aren't like the AA teams of the past.

I've seen SCSU play 6 times this season and they shouldn't be over looked. We are the better team however so I'm hoping for a sweep from us.
