I sure was excited when I got it, but it didn't take long for the excitement to go away Oh well, hopefully I'll be able to dial in to the entire series this weekend!
-
I'm dumb, I was looking at intensity the whole time, when it was quality that I need. Well, with some time spent on the roof, I got the feed to start the 2nd period. Thanks for all the help.

I have a traxis. I think I'm looking at everything correctly? I'm on the "Congratulations ..." screen, says I'm pointed at 121 W and when I go to TP scan the signal intensity is 90% and the signal quality is 55%. Says the frequency is 12016 and sr is 20000.
-
I would think that I'm pointed correctly because I have over 90% with the dish pointing channel?
-
Could someone let me know as soon as the feed is up so I can start searching for it again tonight. Hoping for better results than last night?!
-
Just tried, but I think the signal is probably already gone.
-
I tried frequencies from 11830-11850, I found 3 stations at 11850, but none were FSSN. All with SR of 4880.
-
Crazy thing for me, I'm getting 90% signal quality on the Dish channel - you'd think I'd be smilin?
-
Same problems for me.
-
Blind scan gets me the dish network pointing channel, but no FSSN. Whats up with that?

The weekend that the Sioux were in Alaska I was watching the gopher game. I wasn't paying attention, so this phase may very well be taken out of context, but Frank and Doug were talking about how tough it is to sweep in the WCHA and I believe Doug said: "If your not good enough to sweep, you'll never get swept." Like I said, I wasn't completely watching, but me and the two other people in the room thought they heard the same thing. So I think this will be my favorite Woogism.

Guys with FTA systems - is the feed up yet? I'm not seeing it and hoping my satellite hasn't moved?

I agree with that statement. I would think that makes sense as well. I was wondering if its stated in the rules anywhere that this is a fact? If not, I'm wondering why its not in the comparison.
-
I noticed something while looking at the pairwise tonight. I wondered why our record against TUCs (teams under consideration) were different for different comparisons. I figured out that they throw out the games between the two teams in each individual comparison. I have not found that rule stated anywhere for sure? I know beating the other team helps us in general (because we get head to head points in the comparison), but it seems like that hurts us in the TUC comparison. If you look at it right now, we would have one more pairwise point because we would win the comparison with the goophs if this rule was not true (we would have a better TUC record which would switch the comparison). Anybody have any info on this part of the TUC part of the comparison?

Hey, by the way, we played against a very good team this weekend. 3 points before the weekend started would've been a great thing. I'm pretty happy about what happened this weekend. I couldn't ask for more than 3 points against Denver.

I'll take Watkins.

I'll take Duncan tonight.

Rule C-2 states that the player bats the puck directly into the net. In this case, the puck did not go directly in the net - it bounced off our goalie into the net. Think if this occurred somewhere else on the ice: The way the rule is stated, the only way the whistle would not be blown is if the puck is touched by the opponent. It does not say the high sticking team needs to control the puck for a whistle to occur, like a delayed penalty, so I would interpret that to mean if it touches a player from the high sticking team, the whistle is blown immediately. I've seen this happen many times. I guess it may just be how someone interprets the rule, but the arguement is there that the goal possibly should've been waved off. I'm just more frustrated than anything else - a win would've been huge last night and the tie didn't sit well with me. Like someone said earlier lets win tonight and take a 3 game unbeaten streak back home. 3 points on the road would be big. GO SIOUX!!!!!
-
Just for arguement, what about rule ©, (and I still think rule (D) is legit in this case, puck went direct from our player to goalie)....... still doesn't matter, it goes down as a tie. Let's get after them tomorrow - big time. GO SIOUXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX!!!

I am very frustrated after tonight. I was pissed by both late penalties on us (Stalock hooked our guy and fell down because of it and we got called for??? not sure what. Also we dove to stop a two on one pass and the Duluth guy skated into our guy and fell - tripping? Wow I'm upset.) But, when they scored and we looked at replay, I knew the rules should have said no goal Duluth. I was beside myself. How can I know more than the WCHA refs on the ice? I thought I should look up the rules to determine if I am correct. Here's what I found (straight from NCAA rule book): High Sticks SECTION 21. a. Carrying sticks above the height of 4 feet (the height of the goal cage) is prohibited. HR-72 RULE 6 / PLAYING RULES PENALTY
