I believe they have some scholarship money available, as they appear to always keep some room for things that go on after NSD. And they didn't take a CB, so it doesn't appear as if they can say the position is full.

I had heard there were academic concerns, but nothing positive about that. The reason we're thinking he's not actually coming is because there hasn't been anything noted by the school itself - you would think that when the NLI came in they could have added him to the list or whatever. Again, I'm hoping he's coming because of his abilities, but would like the school to confirm it.

SFI has their doubts on the Opara signing - still nothing concrete.

Probably similar to how they brought in JD Allen a little late last year. Or the Brown's (Dwayne and Chris) the year before.

Also, regarding Stendler, I see NIU is bringing him in as a TE, along with two other TEs. But their site has him listed at 6-4, 250. I thought the last I heard was 6-2, 220. Would have fit the mold perfectly for what we're bringing in for DEs.

Yeah, I saw that tweet from him this morning. Because of how strange it seems that his name hasn't been added to our recruiting class, I'm going to temper my enthusiasm until there is more difinitve word from UND. Very excited if true.

And Nurse mentioned that we haven't seen all of his "bumps" yet, so it could be Bell and Wharton that we should see. Sounds like they are just waiting on one more. Out of the two, hopefully Bell from my perspective if I had to pick one just based on tape.
