Tough loss. I guess we'll get to see more of Josh Murray this year and see how he can handle the load.

Sounds to me like you're putting the victim on trial rather than the perps. Why? I get the feeling you attitude is the same as UND's, make the victim prove he was terrorized rather than have the perps prove they are innocent. Another blackeye for UND. I am a UND grad and I always wanted m kids to go to UND for college but incidents like these and the nickname issue have changed my mind. I can't stop them from going there but I certainly won't encourage them. Go ahead, let the potshots begin! I put on my mental kevlar.
Isn't that how it is with the laws of the United States? Innocent until proven guilty? A defendent doesn't have to prove innocence.
Not that I condone what was done to the individual. But if you're saying that everywhere but UND the perps have to prove they're innocent, I'm just correcting you. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding your post.

t has been the opinion of most of the supporters of the name that it is a small group that object to the name. If indeed it is a majority on both Standing Rock and Spirit Lake that object and their votes confirm that, UND should change the name and move on.
I completely agree with this statement.
fourwindsboy, I'm curious about what your experiences were at UND that you are talking about.

If I'd of just filled this one out like my others, I'd be up in the 12 point range What was I thinking?

Good luck Lady Yotes.

Saw that three of the four folks on FSN picked the Sioux to win the tourney championship this weekend. Hopefully they're right!

Thanks for the link NDSU grad. Sounds like the UND guys did ok for themselves, and Mays looks like he may be able to move up a little with the good 40 time and the fact that he's an animal. I wonder if he may be better suited as a fullback at the next level, and add a good tackling dimension on special teams?

Anyone have any knowledge of what's going on with the Pairwise after this weekend? I thought I saw somewhere that the Sioux dropped to 4th.

Mavs going on a run. Sioux down 27-19. Both teams not sounding very good.
Thanks for the updates. I'm kinda all over the place today, so I appreciate the updates that I can check every now and then!

The Dome addition is a done deal.
Do you know when they're going to announce this, BB?

Anyone have a score?

Apparently there was a shooting at NIU. Not much to the story, as it just happened sometime this afternoon. My thoughts and prayers are with anyone affected by this tragedy.

I am going to an event tonight that both Cal Poly's head football coach and AD will be at. I will try to see if a UND/Cal Poly game next year is still a possibility. I am would really like to see that game happen in 2008.
Did you get any good info last night Slo?

It will be very interesting 4-5 years from now what we're saying about these young men after having them on the team. I'm very excited for next year to start!

Been a while since we've heard any schedule news. I'm very curious to see what the schedule ends up looking like for next year. Any new news on when it might be released?
-
Looks about right, Hammer. I'm excited to see what the recruiting class brings! Looks like we have a very solid class thus far.

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!

A bit of a phantom penalty there, huh?

Sioux need to get the puck in the net. They're dominating play here in the third it would appear to me.

I definitely like ours better. We only have I believe 4 NAIA and 1 DII game (which we will have for the next couple years), all at home, whereas they are filled with DII, DIII and NAIA (including a couple DIII or NAIA on the road like Northwestern College and Buena Vista). That's similar to our mens schedule, which we all know isn't the best for the home slate. I'm pretty excited about the womens schedule.
