  1. /b]Further, I have been watching the Sioux for 20 years and I have never seen a player skate, shoot and score in a style like Fratten has been since last Feb. He reminds me of Stafford but more skilled with his shot and a bit more physical. I think he might find himself on a hobbey list here in a bit...

I think he has all the Tools of a Hobey Nod, but i think the off the ice B-S would still be in voters minds...A few years back TJ Oshie was 190% better on the ice than any player in college hockey. He was mentioned as a Hobey Nominee, but i don't think he made the Hobey Hat-Trick )Off the ice B-S could have played in)...

If Fratts continues to dominate, and put up incredible numbers he will get his due. If he leads this team to an incredible record, and back's it up with Goals/Assists or GWG's I agree you could see his name on the list. It might help the Hobey cause that his problems were last season (also in voters mind's,) but with such a long college season i believe there will be other WCHA players that trump his #'s...

I love Fratts, think he has all the tools. I am pumped he rededicated himself, because we get to enjoy his passion/skill everyweekend now.

Not to mention the hypr Chay will generate come NCAA season time. If Chay doesn't score a ton but we finish with a superb record all the experts will say it was because of Chay and point to his great migrane comeback as the reason we are where we are...

  2. I have been saying this would be huge as far as the PairWise goes since the day i planned the trip out...

Maine is going to be looking for some home cooking, and i expect it to be loud!!!

Go Sioux, let's play 6 hard period's and we will have a productive weekend.

  3. ok, so my tickets are in the Mail for the Maine series...This will be a pretty big series as far as the pairwise standings are concerned late in the season.

We are sitting in Row 2, behind the Maine goalie in the 1st and 3rd Period...

We will be rocking the UND gear, and probablly be pretty primed by time the puck drops. Super stoked for this series...Anyone else going?

    Hit us up!!!

  4. Tickets through the Maine Ticket Office are now on sale...There is one ticket promotion going on though...

It is a 5 for $99 deal. But they are letting you buy like 2 Tickets for the Friday 22 Oct Game, and then 3 for the Oct 23 game...

They do not care what games you buy tickets for as long as the total is 5. There is like a $4 service charge, not bad i didn't think...

You can call-1-800-756-TEAM. The operator's are very friendly...

I have not been to the area before, but it sounds like most of the town happening stuff is a 10-20 mile drive from the Arena...

I am pretty stoked for this trip...

Hope to see some other Sioux Fans there!

  5. So, since the 2010-2011 season is upcoming i was curious who was planning which road trips???

I am sure the opening of the New Arena would be on most members list as a Must Road Trip this year...

Anyone else have any big plans??? A group of us will be doing the UND/Maine trip up here in October...

Tickets won't go on sale up here till Mid Sept tho, bummer...

Let's hear it folks, where ya headed???

This will be my 5th year i have checked out a new college hockey arena, but my first full season out east...

  6. I bought the 52" Sony HDTV, and since i got it i stay in mostly the HD Channel's...

Now that we live in Boston, ((% of the time we watch stuff on the HD channels...

    It is nuts...

  7. Odd Esox was at that Regional too...

Good news, it is only the end of the 1st....I am not sure why, but this reminds me of the game vs. Wisco in 2008(?) at the Regional in Wisconsin where we played horribly for the first two periods and then came out strong in the third and won in ot. (Knock on wood, so i don't accidently jinx us)
  8. So Yale has 1:38 left on the PP with a clean sheet. Usually this is not good news for the team on the PK.

We worked it better for 2-3 shifts in a row but then lost it again, then another over aggresive penalty. We live by the aggresive play, and die by it too.

Bottom line is get the boys fired up and make something happen. I hate these games with so many penalties called on both sides...Just let em play and call the obvious stuff...

    GO SIOUX...

  9. So were outside DCU center getting primed for the game at the Tavern. Actually it's probablly called a "Chowdaaaaaaaahhhhh Baaaaaar" any ways were stoked for the game!!!

    Go Sioux...

    The Fighting Sioux:

    No Yale Can Hold 'em

  10. If Taz boy is right and RIT win again today, I vote that this man become Honorary Bracket champion for the East regional...

Afterwatching the East regional live yesterday, I am happy for RIT fans... They are some great fans and really know how to get behind their team...
