Anyone else here Hennessy's between-periods comment about locker room problems at Minnesota? He said that when they were having problems early in the year, it was because of one player. He said he didn't want to point fingers, but it was someone from Austria.

Yeah, it's interesting. After getting swept at Wisconsin, the media was back to questioning the Sioux goaltending. One freakin' bad weekend with the season two-thirds done and suddenly UND's goaltending is "weak" again. Jake made a statement this weekend.

My understanding is that the game will only be broadcast by WDAZ in Grand Forks and WDAY in Fargo.

Thinking over last night's game, one of the big factors in UND's win was having a fourth line that created scoring opportunities and, at times, outplayed UMD's first line. If the Fabian-Hale-Stafford line continues to play like this, it'll be a big plus heading into the playoffs.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Hey, my son's birthday was today, too. He goes to Grand Forks Central and got a Sioux jersey for his birthday. He also had a special day.

I agree. I think all the pressure was on the Bulldogs. A couple of weeks ago on the coaches show, Blais said he told the players that if they won the last six games, the MacNaughton Cup would be theirs. Three down, three to go.

Blais on post-game: Says it was a great 3rd period. Really needed the 4th goal. It was big. At times in the 2nd period, we were on our heels a bit. 3rd period was all ours. Great game for all six defensemen. Fourth line gave us some precious time when we needed it. Not making neutral zone turnovers was key.

Great defensive effort, especially on the penalty kill. No goals by Bochenski, Parise or Murray. No power play goals. And yet, a 4-1 victory. What a team.

That's it. Game over. Sioux win 4-1, snapping Duluth's 14-game unbeaten streak and tying the Dogs for the WCHA lead. I love it!
