This is is the Associated Press version of the Forum's poll story, but I'm posting the link just to show that it's already attracting attention around the country, and especially in Indiana.

I'll only answer that after my nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court becomes official.

Who says that you only have to use one?

Something weird's going on here. The story at the top of this thread is the only one that I can find saying that all the tribes voted against UND's use of the Sioux name and logo. There's nothing saying this in the Forum and nothing in the Herald. This story appeared 45 minutes ago on the Bismarck Tribune's Web site. It says nothing about a vote. What the heck is going on?

Lucy Ganje and Leigh Jeanotte sent an "anti-appeal" to the NCAA on Thursday. Between those two events, I wouldn't be surprised if the NCAA ruled on UND's appeal sometime Friday. I don't expect it to be good.

That's what I was thinking. But it sure does sound nice, doesn't it?

I thought he was a car. I noticed that NCAA news release last night and posted a link to it on the USCHO board. Nobody commented on it over there, so I figured that they didn't think it was as ironic as I did.
