Check back often for the latest installments of Burish on the Boards. Hi USA fans! My name is Adam Burish, a forward from Madison, Wisconsin, and a member of the Chicago Blackhawks. I will periodically keep a journal here to allow you all to get an inside view as to what our team here is up to, how things are going, and some insight to some of our players. This is my first experience having the chance to play for Team USA. It is an absolute thrill and honor to be a part of this world championship team. We are currently in the middle of our mini training camp in Portland, Maine. It is a great chance for all of us to get to know each other, and get to know the coaching staff. Since we have been here we have practiced every day. We have a video session every morning going over team details such as our fore check, power play, and penalty kill, so that everybody is on the same page, since every one comes from different teams and different systems during the regular season. I had every intention on not getting tickets until I arrived in Denver, however, when I was searching stubhub this morning, 4 popped up for only $150.00 and they were down on ice level 20 rows up and I couldn't resist. As soon as I purchased them, they were back up to $500 a piece.

Just got mine....Section 122, Row 20, Seats 7, 8, 9, 10...bought on stubhub for $150.00/each for all tickets...saaaaaweeet!!!

Where is Grandpa on that list? Heard he's not coming -- that's a shame!!!

Four of us flying from MSP Wednesday morning, rented a van for $30/day, staying a rental home downtown....I booked my flights a month ago and prayed every day not to have egg on my face for it. Paid $200 a ticket from MSP.

I've been to a couple Frozen Fours and because there are a lot of empty seats (other teams' fans not attending), it is very easy to move down to seats in the lower level. Why pay for lower level seats when you can just move down?

If any of you are having problems finding accomodations in Denver, we booked a condo through www.vrbo.com and got a really nice place close to downtown. We rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath for $275.00 a night for 6 of us...not a bad price when you split the cost and lots of rooms. Check it out.

From what I hear, UND sections are 106, 107 and 108 and for now the team is staying at the Courtyard Marriott downtown...plans may change however.
