all alone? theyre tied with west fargo and 1 point ahead of Grafton...i wouldn't call that all alone...the top 5 teams are all close...anybody can beat anybody right now...im liking this season

this is what the soviet union said about the U.S. in 1980 too...that their was no way we could win....i dont see this as a HUGE UPSET at all...a HUGE UPSET would be if like whapeton or something like that beat RR or GPR....i have no respect for this site anymore

thats not exactly true...from what i saw the red river players saw that there were too many men and talked to the refs about it...the whistle was blown for the goal and in high school hockey you cannot review a play to make the call...it was too late for the refs to wipe it out after they called it a goal if they didnt see the sixth man...refs are human too and they make mistakes..alot....it is unfortunate for red river that the refs were that stupid..but in the end im glad it happened cuz it made it one hell of a game ..3 OT period and ending on a pretty goal..cant ask for anything better

i dont think it matters if there are west candidates...its politics.... and its basically between meland and ladoucer....id probly say meland gets it

dont mean to shoot your predictions down...but north is gonna loose to bismarck...i am all for an east raping of the west again but its not gonna happen..grafton beat north 9-0 and 11-1 during the year as you should know...bismarck's only loss is to grafton 4-3 i believe....this kinda like saying a peewee B team is gonna beat a decent varsity team

In grafton the schools have thursday and friday off just for the hockey state tournaments....one year they tried to have school but no one showed up...they were all at the englstad watching the spoilers play

they lost to gpr in the regular season just to let you know...with their back up goalie...and yes they didnt play against rr...and they wont get to....but i agree with you...grafton will loose if they underestimate bismarck...they had to come from behind in the last minute against minot to win..cuz they underestimated....i also hope nd hockey will advance too to compete with the caliber of the minnesota state tournament....and actually i will not be at all surprised if williston beats south...south is not very strong this year

wouldnt it be great if we moved the north dakota border west a view miles so that the red river valley could be in minnesota...so that way fargo, gf, and grafton all played the caliber of hockey they deserve...it would make for a more exciting tournament than just seeing only two teams capable of playing each other in a state championship...im just glad rr and grafton split during the year so it can be a close game...and that way western hockey good join junior gold teams to play at their caliber of hockey...we would keep the sioux of course tho lol my predictions... south over williston - 6-4 grafton over mandan- 5-0 red river over century-8-0 bismarck over north-6-2 red river over south - 6-1 grafton over bismarck- 4-1 grafton over red river-5-4 possibly O.T.

thats exactly my point...he's always had a good team in front of him to help him out---- and im liking how your giving credit to grafton finally...instead of sucking on the balls of RR this whole season... if grafton had a solid goalie, which they do not, they'd be easily my pick for champs...but as of now its 50/50

Not to mention if RR has a bad game (Ladoucer and Galbreath don't play good) Arnason falls apart.
