  1. Thank you for bringing facts to the table on this one...I wish they could find a way to get this done, but would settle for a PP clock to start!

After nine years I finally have started to pay attention to the time on the clock when the penalty is called. Also heard from a co-worker that Woog has Parkinson's. It's too bad. I will miss both Woog and Mazzacco.

  2. It's funny you can say "Ho-Hum, win a draw and it doesn't matter," but when a particular set of D-men are on the ice for 5 of 6 goals I think there's a bit of a negative trend there that could have been addressed and actually had an impact on the game.

Ho-Hum my ass. My trip to DC is going to be a lot different than I hoped. The point is, they should have one the game. Finley is an easy target, but after the game, I can point out many things that would have one the game. Thank you Seniors!

  3. Hey FSSN can't even put up a timer telling how much time is left on a Power Play.

We emailed to find out how much it would cost to sponsor the clock and the answer was $1,800 a month. A little out of budget for the St Paul Sportsroom.

  4. Exactly. At that stage in the game, you need Mauer to try to find a gap for a double and score on a hit from Morneau. :( Mauer is my Carson Palmer of the MLB. Lots of talent but little substance, especially when it counts or matters. How many "average" MLB players drive in 80+ runs?

Yea lots of average players in baseball that win the American League batting title two out of three years and drive in 80+ runs. Oh yeah, they also play catcher, the most demanding position in baseball. Just because he doesn't hit for power, doesn't mean he won't be making 20 million a year the next contract he signs. Your just mad that after a few more games this year he won't be your quarterback. Twins had a great year and if they decide to spend a few more dollars they will have team that can compete to win it. As far as September goes (when it counts), Mauer hit better than any player on the team. Oh I forgot, not enough home runs.
