  1. Danye Guinn MVP - Ashley makes all tournament team, also.
  2. UND gets a technical foul - coach ejected. Must've been the second on Gene? Not sure. Announcer not saying much. 71 - 62. UND wins championship. Coming back for trophy presentation.
  3. Wow!! That is a great compliment. And also notice the Bison as #17 in Division 1. Great!! Bison Women's program ranked above my alma mater, University of Oklahoma. Should help our programs with recruiting, you'd think. Wonder how prospective players receive knowledge of this site? How did you know about it, Mr. Walrus?
  4. Way to go Jessica!! Just goes to show that yes, we can grow, nurture, and develop top female basketball competitors in ND!! Looks as though one of her future teammates will be Amy Beggin from Roseville, MN. Who just so happened to play on an AAU North Tartan team with Jossy Bergan, on of our new UND players. The Lobos should be a great experience for Jessica. She is looking for a much warmer location than her older sister, Rebecca (who went to University of Alaska at Anchorage)!
  5. In wnaegele's defense, we have discussed the possibility of UND pursuing Jessica. So the information posted was hopefully meant as more of an "update" than a "diss"?
  6. How many team members can dress? And can dressing members be switched up during the season? With Amy gone, I imagine either Jossy or Alys to be maybe a relief to the new point guard position? I would look for Alys to be the one to fill in, but could be way off. Our team having played against both Anna Leigh and Jeanmarie, I am confident in their individual strengths adding to the Sioux team. Both are hard-workers (duh! Roebuck would not suit them otherwise) and dedicated ball players!
  7. The Women's BBall roster for 2006-07 is updated on the sports page. I wasn't as surprised about Anna Leigh Brady, as she was with the team some this summer for different things, but do you suppose Jeanmarie Berg is a walk-on? When our team played Hatton-Northwood last season, Jeanmarie was just out of her cast. She had broken her wrist earlier. She is a good defender. A defensive specialist, I'd say. Wonder if anyone of the new 5 will red-shirt?
