They don't start practice until Oct. 15. They are looking pretty good but still need to work out some bugs. All of the posts are looking stronger than ever and Beck was lighting it up from three point line - I was very impressed with her. From what I've heard the captain's workouts have been very intense.

I think Bagaason will step up huge this year and be that perimeter shooter. Switch over to defense and opponent's posts are going to have an extremely difficult time getting by Lagen and Ledger. I was extremely impressed with Ledger's defense as a freshman coming out of high school, and I think it's only going to get better if she is healthy. That's not even mentioning Jahner's incredible defensive abilities.

You are obviously someone related to her and felt the need to let anyone from UND, who would read this, know because you are upset the UND women's basketball program did not want to recruit her. You decided to become a member just to post something about her that was from the Albuquerque Journal that noone else could have possibly known about besides her direct family. I think that is somewhat pathetic and not many people on this website care.

Jahner is going to be expected to play most of the game. Seay may help relieve her sometimes but they have other guards capable of bringing the ball up that are not freshman. So at the beginning I think they will go with experience and work Seay in as the season goes on. But when LaFrance comes to town, I can imagine she will play point and will be relieved by Seay.

It's official, LaFrance committed -- in the herald today. She's going to bring a lot of athletic talent. All-stater in three sports (she quit soccer as a junior to concentrate on bb even though she was a 1st team all-stater as a soph). Amazing athlete.

Kelsch is no where near the athletic talent and ability it takes to play for the women's program.

I heard Andrea LaFrance of Bismarck Century is going to commit if she hasn't already. Who are the other players recruited or being recruited in the '07/'08 class?
