Personally, I don't see the implosion happening no matter what happens unless there's something hidden in all that granite. The only sports facilities I can think of that were used only a few years before vacated and demolished were done so because of structural integrity concerns. So yeah, just rumors. EDIT: or because it was a pro team that tanked.

If you haven't heard from other threads or other sites, RyPo definitely did not make it. Even though he and his brother jumped across the border for college hockey, he should prove to be a strong source of pride for Grand Forks and North Dakota in his career with the Flyers and onward.

You guys should be able to pull two wins in April. Sure Wisc, BC, and Maine are going to try to make it difficult for you, but the feeling I have is that the Sioux are in the best shape of the four. I can't say I'll be rooting for you guys, but the expectation that I have is that you'll respond to the NCAA name ban thing in the same manner that you responded to the WCHA Final Five poster mess. I think you'll outskate BC while the Badgers pulverize the Black Bears. The Championship game would then look like the semi-final game at the X a couple of weeks ago, especially if you give it everything you've got because you know full well the Badgers will be giving it everything they've got.

Howdy, folks. I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this thread, but what's the real harm besides it being moved. Anyway with UND preparing for more Frozen Four action, I decided to join this board to follow and participate in discussion of the Fighting Sioux in post-season, though I'm not sure how often I'm going to visit yet. As you can see from my signature, yes I am a fan of your mortal enemy. However, you should note that I am not here to razz or post any other kind of hostile comments like a troll. I personally consider that to be a lame excuse to waste time and bandwidth on someone else's board. While we've had our problems with trolls over on GPL, we've also had a larger number of valued members from other fan bases, many of them Sioux fans, so it seems appropriate to return the favor.
