I was at the NDSU MSU game here is the aftermath...all NDSU kids got rolled. There were like 6 fights 5 canadians on the ice for MSU and one guy from ND. and of course all american kids from NDSU, you can guess the outcome.

It's actually Schmitt...but anyway his dad was a good wcha offical, and his uncle is just a good high school official. But anyway Minot learned alot from this weekend. I bet they bring up the J.V. goalie to replace the kid who started at Red River. But you need good goaltending and control to win I guess we will see what happens in the coming weeks.

Chad Burkard has total control of his team. I can't agree more with you. If you get a little respect from the kids alot will change. Chad is good with the officals as well. He doesn't complain that much and deals with it and rolls. He will only agrue something if it was a for sure mistake from the official. Its big difference from last 10 odd years of Minot high school hockey. Minot has a huge weekend. Tonight is Red River, and on Saturday they travel up to Grafton.

Minot beat Williston 2-1

Campion is probably one of the better officials. He doesn't take too much seriously if you watch him on the ice for a second. But he is usually consistant. There are alot of good linesman in the WCHA that should get a chance. Either way no one will ever be happy. Always have to blame the game on something or someone.

The thing that will hold Minot back is there defense. Yes they did have all 6, but they are weak. It will be interesting west region that is for sure. I was at the game last night as well, they dominated the whole thing. The JV game was a different story. It was close down to the final minutes. I was thinking the varsity game might be good but no such luck. Minot came out firing right away and didn't let up.

The rutgers game will be a good one. One of the better bowl games this year.
