minot beat williston 2-1 minot had two pp goals both teams showed up but minot had the two pp goals very physical and fast paced game, i talked to a coach i know from williston and they were missing 3 players one was injured before the game one is out for the season (tyler liffring?) and one of there starting defense is fighting a shoulder injury the teams looked fairly even however they were both physical and fast paced.

im gonna have to agree with most of the predictions on these posts williston and minot and south and grafton would be two great games to attend in east and west region play

Any scores from round the state tonight... I was heading back to GF tonight and I had the oppertunity to catch the williston-mandan game. Williston won 7-0 they looked surprisingly good, they are very physical and well diciplined. Although they played a weak team I think this is still one team to watch out for come the state tourney. I will enjoy watching them play again and see if they can put the puck in against a stronger opponent.
