    And, let's say just for the sake of discussion that it will happen someday... it will not be very exciting for me. I don't want to see my team get crushed by somebody they have no business playing against. I'd rather see them stick to D-1AA competition, and if they really feel the need to play a token D1 opponent I'd rather they choose a middle of the pack to bottom feeder team from the MAC conference... somebody they might be able to keep up with for a quarter or two.

    Since when are the Gophers anything but a bottom feeder. This game will likely not be a blow out, the Goophers are down this year compared to previous years. An upset is not out of the question (Yes, the Bison might get upset!) if the gophers can put a solid four quarters together!!! :silly:

    It seems like every poster this year keeps mentioning our conservative play calling more than in the past. How much influence does Lennon have on Mussman in each series? Or is Mussman just the poorest OC in Sioux history? The UNO game last year still chaps my ass!!!!

    Thanks to all who provided the updates. 790 didn't carry the game so I was in cubicle hell today!!!

    Sounds like a heck of a game the Sioux put together.

    IMO there is one reason why Beatty is #3 on the depth chart. HE CANT HANG ONTO THE DAMN FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!! I think Chris is a good athlete, but I think he should be a back up to Trent instead.

    I cannot stand the "N_zi" attitudes and methods of Myles anymore. How can this dictator keep getting away with this year after year? I give as much as I can to UND every year so I claim that I am a dedicated dedicated fan/alum, but I will never be able to dent what others may give. I can only promise that I will now always be as anti-NC$$ as possible. I will be the fan in Sec 203, Row Z, seats 3 & 4 that will ALWAYS have on anti-NC$$ attire! If I get kicked out, I would not mind being an example of a fan that will give up his games as a principle to not supporting the NC$$.

    bigmrg74.....Where is Grand Valley at in this processs. Is there talk or expectations that the Lakers will be moving up? It would certainly appear to be a logical step to move up (IMO).

    Fantastic news. The football program is certainly ready for this next step and the challenges that will arise. It was great to see Lennon with that level of excitement. If a more difinitive decision had been made earlier in the year I wonder if recruiting would have been any different. I think it certainly would have made the decision of Gratzek and Anderson a lot harder to make.

    Here's a thread worth a gamble on.........I am guessing it will be the 09-10 season before the SIOUX (That's right, the name will be the same in 09-10) bison will play again. Final score will be Sioux 24 bison 13.
