it would not be the worst hire and another thing is maybe we should not judge the assistant that sits next to the head coach. because we all know it is human nature to do things a little different without even thinking about it, when you are in charge things are different. do not forget this guy has turned down a DI job to stay committed to UND and Rich, the community as well as the player he brought in. i saw that herbst has been coaching a while, he has experience at different levels and schools in different regions of USA. i saw he was a head coach at a junior college and one as an assistant.... by the way i think that school won a national championship

Nice to see Kristi Boese is a Kodak All-American. She earned it, 34-1 is a heck of a way to go out. Way to Kristi.

it seems to be trouble down there, maybe they need to look for quality and not so much head coaching experience. a lot of coaches in the NSIC and NCC will be looking at that job if they are not scared of the mess that has been created. I would think they would look to the NCC first, look at your top schools and the seasons they have had.

I would not call it a dynasty, Yet. It has been a while since they have been back to the dance. Win a couple of more national championships and then it's well on it's way. They seem to be working hard on finding players, but they have had some duds in a few of the recruiting classes. If this recruiting class holds up and the current freshman class, they will be led by strong junior and senior leadership to make a serious run. Don't rule out this year either.

True it does happen in other sports, yet it does not show clASS or respect. As far as it being another school I don't think this is the 1st time women hoops has delt with this. It is a bigger deal because it shows who is trying to stay local and not be big time and come up short and then come back to the local kid to save their clASS.
