Being on Celebrini’s line makes everything possible. Teasing (slightly) and good for him because he was slumping there for a bit. But in all seriousness…Celebrini is special. He’s 16 too.

    Is Celebrini committed?

A goalie with a lot of upside from the area that I think UND should keep an eye on is Noel Olsonawski.  Saw him play a few times this year and last and I'm just always impressed with his positioning and skating ability in the net.  I think he has a really high ceiling, and I'm interested to see how he does in junior hockey.

And where is he from and how old is he?

  3. I have a question about NCHC TV. I won't be able to watch Saturday night till about 7:30. I to;d that there's a way to start watching the game from the beginning even though the game is in progress like a DVR, but last time I tried I couldn't figure it out. Anybody out there that can help an old non-techy guy out?

Things I just didn't like Saturday:

Kleven ended the first period four seconds early (and the whole arena gasped). That's what you call an omen.

Blake is trying to be a one-man band. Does his stick not pass ... or shoot for that matter.

Our sticks are not heavy on the puck. A cool breeze garners a take-away.

Our passes are short, soft, and late/behind.

Shoot the puck. Everyone, just shoot the puck. Right now it is OT and any shot is a good shot.

This team lacks fundamentals: four below your own goal line? There are squirts laughing at that.

What did Kleven do? I can't remember.

I'm going to make a bold speculative guess:

I'd bet Frisch/Kleven are out with McLaughlin and Blake more often than not and two defensemen can't cover for the defensive shortcomings of two freshmen forwards.

Like Gino always said, the freshman need to grow some whiskers as the season goes on.
