The Tims were the best hockey broadcast team I recall
I think so, also.

Yeah great play by Peart after peeking and seeing Gaber coming in so hot.
NCHC rule....ND gets a 5 per game.

A goalie with a lot of upside from the area that I think UND should keep an eye on is Noel Olsonawski. Saw him play a few times this year and last and I'm just always impressed with his positioning and skating ability in the net. I think he has a really high ceiling, and I'm interested to see how he does in junior hockey.
And where is he from and how old is he?

Hey, thanks for all the suggestions and advice! I'll let you know how it all works out.

I have a question about NCHC TV. I won't be able to watch Saturday night till about 7:30. I to;d that there's a way to start watching the game from the beginning even though the game is in progress like a DVR, but last time I tried I couldn't figure it out. Anybody out there that can help an old non-techy guy out?

Things I just didn't like Saturday:
Kleven ended the first period four seconds early (and the whole arena gasped). That's what you call an omen.
Blake is trying to be a one-man band. Does his stick not pass ... or shoot for that matter.
Our sticks are not heavy on the puck. A cool breeze garners a take-away.
Our passes are short, soft, and late/behind.
Shoot the puck. Everyone, just shoot the puck. Right now it is OT and any shot is a good shot.
This team lacks fundamentals: four below your own goal line? There are squirts laughing at that.
What did Kleven do? I can't remember.

Exactly, but that would mean going to the hard areas, and that apparently isn’t our thing anymore. Give me a Brandon Bochenski who would shoot from anywhere, anytime.
Yup

I have a better idea… how about the players generate the noise through brilliant defense, power offense with sweet passing and brick wall goaltending. The rest will take are of itself. Go Sioux!

How soon they forget Karl got Drizzy here.
Until this team commits to team defense, Hasek/Brodeur/Roy would have trouble keeping it above 0.900.
Who's Drizzy?

Would Berry's squirt be high and wide?

God, where is the team that was at Western Michigan?

Exhibitions should be "diodes", one way flow:
- you can commit suspension infractions in them
- you can not serve suspensions with themAbsolutely

Omaha's NCHC.tv webcasts are the worst in the conference along with Miami's. Thank God, the first night of the Miami series is on CBS Sports.
Yup. And CC isn't much better.

Was he having a good season so far?

So out for the season for Duluth?

I'm going to make a bold speculative guess:
I'd bet Frisch/Kleven are out with McLaughlin and Blake more often than not and two defensemen can't cover for the defensive shortcomings of two freshmen forwards.
Like Gino always said, the freshman need to grow some whiskers as the season goes on.

Completely agree with that.

Something has to give.
Western Michigan gave up 7 straight goals against UNO on Friday night after jumping to a 3-0 lead.
Didn't someone give up 6 Saturday night?
