In my 1 and only year, the 93-94 season at Mayville State, we lost to Wayne State (Div-II) in Mayville that year 94-12. It was 55-12 at half time, the only reason people were around at the end was to see if they'd hit 100. I remember coach talking about how we were the first team that year to put up 12 points on them in the 1st half, no one else had been able to get that many.
I believe they just missed the DII playoffs that year, not sure though.

I am looking to purchase tickets for individual series' throughout the season.
Right now, I am focusing on the Wisconsin series, and would like 2-4 tickets together in the lower bowl for both Fri and Sat nights
Wisconsin Series on Dec. 8/9 <---------2-4 tickets in lower bowl on 8th, 4 tickets on the 9th
MSU-Mankato Series on Feb. 9/10 <-----------2-4 tickets in lower bowl for both nights
I will be updating this post throughout the season with my requests.

Any specific news related to Zach Jones' injury? I'm kind of concerned....I had thought I heard during the meet the Sioux that he had "torn his groin."

According to this, Zajac is going to make about $280,000 more than Z. Parise this year. Don't know quite how that works, I would think that Parise, being a little more hyped, and already having a year under his belt would garner a larger salary. Isn't $984,200 the max for a rookie? Quite impressive!!

Hey everyone!!
I am looking to purchase 2 tickets for individual series' throughout the season.
I would be looking for 2 tickets for each game (Fri/Sat) of each series. I would prefer lower bowl, and will be patient to get lower bowl seating.

My wife asked Smaby, Zajac and Stafford if they were coming back next year. They all replied basically the same way stating that they were "planning" on coming back. It sounded to me like they had been told/coached on what to say so as not to be definitive, but reassuring to the fans.
If, by some miracle, most of them do stay, where do we make room for the new guys?

I've researched prices online...these things run about $1800 a piece, and that is a low number. Anyone have one in the North Dakota area they are looking to get rid of, even if it needs some work...please let me know!

While at the Meet and Greet last night, my wife was talking with Oshie about Forney coming in next year. TJ said that Forney broke his leg a couple of days ago and things are in the air about him coming in next year. Didn't have time to try and get more information on it. Watkins, Oshie's table partner, was just as suprised as we were. Anyone have any more info on this?

Joe Finley on a breakaway, can't slow up and crashes into Schneider, however, the puck goes in(5 hole) before the crash as Schneider was a deer stuck in headlights!
Finley gets up and warns Schneider to get off the tracks next time the train is rolling through!

Sader, thanks for sharing that. I don't think Sioux fans ever had any ill will toward Holy Cross. As that person stated, the athletic dept. probably moved too quickly to help us out and ended up in a bind. Sioux fans know that to get a Fighting Sioux game worn jersey you have to drop big bucks, so we're just thankful that we were even given this opportunity. That being said, I got this very nice email back this morning from the athletic department.
Hey, me again. I just talked to Coach. He and the equipment manager said that due to the NHL, AHL and all other hockey leagues still playing, the jersey companies won't stop production right now to make college jerseys, so there is usually a 4-6 month wait. They could be wrong, but did both strongly say that. Also, he has no knowledge of our book store even having replicas!
He also said that In the back room in our rink there are some game worn purple jerseys from previous years if there are any interest in them...$150 each and I will get you a list of what numbers there are.
As for shipping, we will pay for that, it's the least we can do for you being so cooperative about those 4. We plan on sending you 1 or 2 boxes if that is ok and when you get all the money from all the people, he wants that check before we send out the jerseys. Also, it will be about 2-3 weeks, they are being washed now and then need to dry and then get signed...all but #17. Did you find out if the team should sign them all?
And we don't think you are crazy, this is great and we love that we had the support that game, it was so awesome to be in that arena with 9,000 fans for us and only 2,000 for Minnesota. And that building is beautiful. Our rink, 1,500 seats on metal benches on one side of the rink. Not so nice!!!
What else?? This has been an interesting conversation over the past week!
Very classy people. The only problem is that now I will be stuck receiving all the jerseys and I'm moving to Denver on May 7th.
I'll have to figure that one out. I may just have them send the jerseys to my sister's house in Denver since it will take 2-3 weeks anyway, plus shipping time.Is anyone interested in the game worn jerseys from previous years?
Is there still interest in trying to put in an order to the jersey company even if it will take 6 months??
I might be interested in a previous years jersey for $150. I would like dibs on McGregor or Quesseda(sp?) if one of their is available. Also would like to have it signed, again, if possible.
I'll be monitoring the situation with the previous years jerseys.
Also, do you have anyone around this area that would be able to assist you in dealing with the shipment of these jerseys? I'd hate so see them shipped all the way out the Colorado and then have to be shipped back out this way. The extra cost should be able to be avoided. There appear to be pleanty of people here that may be willing to help. I would be willing, but also know that I am not well known(being a lurker) on the board and wouldn't want anyone to feel uncomfortable in dealing with someone they don't know. I also live in Devils Lake, however, I would be willing to drive them to Grand Forks to be handed out to those in the area. Just keep me posted if you would like my assistance if you can't get anybody else to help out with the shipping part.
