No way Zajac was coming back. Smaby or Stafford for that matter. They lose to much upfront money after this year. We can all hope, I was hoping Potulny and Irmen would want to end on a better note, but it is unrealistic. It goes with having a program like that. Oshie may be a flight risk because he is a little older than Toews, but I would expect both back. You will still be loaded.

Congrats on a good season. Bottom line is you have a ton of young talent-guess you'll see who shows up for practice next fall? but that goes with having a top program. We lost two, three counting Mueller and maybe four if Johnson skips school. Sucks, but hopefully they'll mesh like your guys by seasons end.

UND has way to much firepower to ever be out of it. It is going to be tough, but Oshie hit two posts in that period. It could easily be a one goal game.

I agree. UND is still in this. Oshie is a monster. They need to score early in the second. I was bummed when MN lost out on Brock Bradford and Dan Bertram, but I didn't notice them at all.

If he skips school, the U will be hurting next year. Not MTU or AA hurting, but definitley a hit. Already losing Potulny and probably Irmen, plus the early de-commitment of Mueller and it could make for a tough start to next year. What are these rumors about Spirko leaving?? Going to Europe like Murray??

Exactly why I, as a gopher fan, want the Sioux to hang number 8. I can't stand systems hockey and love the attacking style of the Sioux. Maine, WI, Cornell-they don't play hockey. It's just garbage. My 2 cents.

BC is tough with Schneider. But you guys have the hottest team, again, going in and have the scorers to deal with it. Parise will have to make a few key saves and just let your guys keep attacking and you should end up on the winning side. If you get past BC, I think it will be a little easier in the NC game imo. Wisconsin and Maine have good goalies and D, but very little on offense.

From a Gopher fan, good luck the rest of the way. My squad vommited on themselves and played with no pride at all. I hope the Sioux can hang a banner this year, might as well be our western neighbors than those damned BADgers.

Michigan has neither the firepower nor the goaltending to stay with UND, I have watched them a number of times this year. Jack Johnson is a stud, but slim pickings other than that, it should be a 2-3 goal UND victory. Hopefully the UM can pull their heads together and win the first game so we can get UND vs MN, but right now I am not so sure that will happen.
