If USD loses the NCC tourney Fort Lewis would be the only team with one region loss. The NCAA in their wisdom may stick it to the NCC? Been here three years in a row? I hope not but stranger things have happened.

Just a thought as lots of basketball has to be played yet. Everyone wins out in the regular season. Fighting Sioux somehow win the NCC tourney. Where is the NCR? Sioux and Coyotes have the same record? Something to ponder!!

I think emotion in the game is a great thing. I was bring up a point someone else made earlier about mvp and the way she plays. We need to have more emotion on this team aka Langen, Maffin.

You really thought Kimbrough should have got it over Quigley?? Stats do not mean a thing anymore?? Its based on how excited she plays and has energy? Come on Quigley was the real clydesdale 23pts 14 boards/game. National player of the year!! As for Boese the NCR did not agree as Quigley was NCR player of year. It should be the best player in the league regardless of standing!!

We were talking great players. I dont believe you can be the best player if you are poor on defense. She does not verbal switches doesnt step in to stop penetration and positions poorly on the posts. She has been pulled out of games for not playing defense. You can not just outscore your man and call it defense. I did not say i don't like her on the team.

Kimbrough was 7-10 from the free throw line. So she shot the ball 10 times. The perimeter players getting the ball to the posts is poor. Seay is really poor at seeing the post. Dont know if she is afraid of turning it over or what. She is playing well except for that.

With all due respect you must only be watching the offensive side of the ball. To be the best all-time you need to be able to play a little defense. She lacks that big time. That problem would have only been worse at D-I. Crouse has my vote

You will have to defend that one for me. She is a wonderful athlete and a great offensive player. But there is more to the game than that.

Do you mean Langen's point production is down or not as effective? Points are down because you have four people averaging double figures. That's a good thing I think! You have four people in double figures because of the zones they play against her. When you are being triple teamed in a zone you are less effective than the man defense they play when the other posts come in. It's really good the outside game has stepped up to the challenge. My guess is zones will be the defense of choice untill the NCC season starts.

I thought last nights crowd was really poor. With a win needed in an NNC semi-final game to secure a home court for the regional playoff that was a poor effort. You don't have to worry about 4000 because Grand Forks doesn't have the support for the womens program. These girls have been playing there hearts out the last few weeks to get this tournament at the Betty!! We respond by not even getting the place half full and sitting on our hands most of the first half. POOR EFFORT!! Take out the St. Cloud people and your bearly over 1000 people. Come on!! If these girls win this tourney it was all there effort not our help!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a friend at the REA in accounting. This person says scanned tickets (people actually attending), have only been over 3000 once. Attendance figures include all tickets sold even if you do not go. The Betty would have no problem holding the crowds so far. So lets get the, over there
