I relize Foyt doesnt play very much, but Spirko does. Neither of these guys have any penaltys this year? Thats pretty ironic. Whats everybody think about that?

I don't think he plans to stay here unless some big job comes up.. I heard threw the grapevine..hes been offered two differnt jobs already, coaching jobs. Down south of the cities they both are.

Yes they are using the Betty. Some of the teams are already here, I saw two differnt teams practiceing in the Betty today. Maybe I should say i saw them walking into it.

Give it another couple of years, if Warroad keeps their act together, there could be a section 8 sweep with Roseau and Warroad. ..It'd be nice..

I don't question his playing ability, I just question his character. Especially for making such a stupid decision to snowmobile during the christmas break and wreck and break his collar bone. He probably won't see action even when his is healthy for that decision alone.

dude- you dont even know the real story. I Heard from a close a friend the real story- he was out ice fishing at lake with his girlfriends brother and a few friends. he hopped on the snowcat to go to another fish out a just down the ice a little. He was on pure ice and the snowcat was just spinning, not moving so he was shaking/rocking the snowcat a little so it would move and he had his thumb on the throtal a little to hard and the snowcat tipped over him. Dont tell me he was being stupid, hes just still trying to have a little fun in life.

She may be doing a great job...but from what i hear from the girls on the team that they really really dislike her. Over heard one girl say, if shes gonna be here the rest of my career, ill be looking for a differnt school. I know you shouldnt always "love" your coach, but you should get along. I know one girl who turned down an offer from UND for womens hockey, because of the coach. In addition one girl on the team, talked to the coach a couple weeks ago about transfering schools or stop playing here....maybe its not the coach, maybe the girls have a bad additude and dont wanna work.. i dunno!

Heard Brandt is back playing and is ready to start playin again. Anybody think they'll try throw him in their and see if he can spark the team up? Or is that to big of a risk.. since the Sioux need to will all the rest of the games? What ya think?

15-0 Moorhead over Monticello tonight in MHD. Lee with a hat trick for sure, maybe a couple of assists. Not sure on Vandevelde, for sure got some points, like everyone else on the team. Next up is Alexandria, 3-2 winners tonight against Bemidji. Saturday's game is in MHD. Anyone know where the Section final will be played ? Was in St. Cloud last year, be nice if it was closer.

Do players ever lose their Scholarships if they are not producing (playing like the coaches thought they would) in their 2nd 3rd or 4th years ?

I dont know if any other "hockey" players do, but i know there are some athletes at UND who do play 2 sports...and they have scholarships for both sports.

What makes you think those other three guys never have a little fun? I believe your very wrong. Who even cares about what happens in there personal lives? Are you all you people on this message board really that obsessed with these guys you need to know there every move in life? Hes 21- he can drink.. thats not gonna stop him. Anybody whos 21 will have a damn beer...wether you play hockey for the sioux or work at a bank. Hell you know how many other athletes at college who are 21 drink? WOW just think if one of these boys on the hockey team who are under 21 got caught driving too after a beer or too... woo s&!t would hit the fan. Yah I relize no matter how many people say,, who cares its there personal lives you people will never stop talking about it.. I swear some you must have a nice easy job and you just sit on the computer all day long and talk on message boards.

Yes I believe UND did recruit him.
I was at the Warroad/Roseau game and over heard somebody from warroad saying that he didnt feel UND offererd him as much scholarship as he wanted, and thought he was better than what they offered.

I personal wouldnt say consider Moreland. In the FM recent playoff games, they swetp the Blizzards 3-0. According to their website..www.fmjets.com, Moreland didnt play in any of those games. There biggest player recently has been Brent Olson, hes committed to the AirForce. Throughout there regular season, Phil Fox & Chris Myhro were there togo guys, now along is Brent Olson. According to their website to, they have 5 players leaving to play DI after this season.
