I saw information on the university athletics web page today. Nice!

Does anyone no if the athletic department has ever considered auctioning game-worn women's hockey jerseys? Just thought it might be a little cheaper way to get a nice authentic jersey.

I want the Zajac swift if he/she is selling.
I have the Zajac swift but I am not looking to trade or sell at this time.

Anyone have a 90's throwback of the jerseys that just has "NORTH DAKOTA" on the front that they are willing to part with? If so please contact me with a price. Thanks

Any updates on game-used football jerseys?

A few years ago, Siouxshop was selling a Sioux beret made by the Roots company. I would really like to have one so if anyone is willing to sell me theirs please PM me. Thanks

Posted another black Swift replica on E-bay. Size XL. Starting bid is what I paid for it at Scheels plus tax. Here is the link:

When do student season tickets go on sale?
Do we have to register before we buy them like last year?
How do they insure that only students can purchase them on ticketmaster.com?
Any information is appreciated. Thank you

I have put a replica swift jersey up for bid on E-bay. It is made by K-1. The starting bid price is the price I paid for the jersey plus tax. Here is the link:

Does anyone know when the student season tickets go on sale?
Will it be done the same way or is it brand new again?

Last year in Minnesota, I saw that they were selling mini hockey helmets that were Bauer replicas of what the Goofers wear. I know there is a Sioux goalie mini but I have never seen a mini skaters helmet. There are many NHL mini helmets on e-bay.
These mini helmets would be great for displaying or getting autographed.
Anyone know how these could be ordered or how to suggest them to the Siouxshop?

As much as I like the idea of green, I think it would not look right with all the different shades. If people wore a darker green then kelly green it would also make the Ralph look empty. (Black would make it look empty as well)
The purpose of a white out is to make the crowd look bigger and thus intimidate the opposition. (As though playing UND in the best arena in the country is not enough)

The Siouxshop has a new Zach Parise bobblehead that is the same size as the Commodore one from last season. It features him in the home white jersey.

Winnipeg did start the tradition of the "white-out" during the playoffs and other teams have followed suit. The tradition has carried onto Phoenix, but since the Coyotes haven't sniffed the playoffs recently (no pun intended), you probably haven't seen it on ESPN's highlights. The most-recent version of colorized crowds was for the NBA playoffs this past spring, when Golden State fans wore yellow at home against the Mavericks. Michigan football last year carried the theme of "Go Blue...Wear Maize" for their home games. Maybe a "Go Sioux...Wear Green" campaign would work in Grand Forks?
Local businesses encourage wearing Green on Friday when there are home games.

Any updates on the football uniforms?

Inside the hockey office is a really nice framed game used #12 Terry Casey jersey. Wow!

I just picked up the jersey I won and I am surprised what good condition it is in despite being the new material. The jersey is a size 60 but fits like a size 52 of the other authentic jerseys. Board burns, stick marks but really no major damage and the numbers, name, logo show no discoloration. These are much lighter feeling than the other jerseys!

Does anyone have information about the possibility of a throwback jersey this season

A new coach would help the program! How many years can a program remain the same with little or no progress before a coach is held accountable?
When UND had good pitchers in the past, Ziegler does not take care of them. Rerick and Mahoney (years back now) when I was in school were dominant pitchers who were drafted but overused in poor conditions leading to arm injuries.
If you don't frequently get great players you must at least protect the ones that do come. I would not want my son to play for Ziegler.

Wow!! This one I like. The yellow in the feathers is distracting though, as it doesn't seem to mesh with the rest of the color scheme.
This logo looks great! I was wondering what it would look like with a tomahawk instead of a spear. (The spear kind of makes me think of Florida State football)
I love the layout and the feathers are a great addition though.

Thought I'd give it a try
It looks a lot smoother at full size. For some reason when it reduces the size it looks funny.
Perhaps make the 'S' on the puck the tomahawk S logo?
-
If they do a 50 year anniversary jersey they could use the '57-58 road jersey that was solid green with one white stripe on the sleeves and North Dakota written in a cursive style across the jersey.

I would love to see any throwback that incorporates the Blackhawk logo. But I think the school will do a throwback jersey without the logo or sioux name.
North Dakota Fighting Pike
in UND Nickname
Posted
The state fish is the northern pike, an aggressive, large and fast moving fish that is commonly found in North Dakota. These fish put up a tremendous fight and are known to have sharp teeth. I have seen some cool logos with aggressive looking fish plus I think someone with logo design talent could easily use the current school colors as they are similar to the natural colors of the fish.
This fish has been known to eat dogs (granted smaller than a lab) but none the less more aggressive then most fish. Additionally, Pike and Sioux have the same syllables and could be swapped in cheers.
Just a thought, clearly I would prefer to keep the Sioux name but I believe it's days are numbered.
