I heard South had approximately 17 players (Soph/Jr/Sr) and no goalie. With Freshmen, it would have been 22ish and no goalie (had 8th grade goalies).
Sad to see the FPS Administrators and School Board/Superintendent create ridiculous gerrymandered boundary lines that led to the elimination of the program. The youth program did no favors either to support a Fargo South team. When GPR, with half of South's enrollment of 850, has more hockey players, that is a problem that few in Fargo wanted to recognize, let alone offer solutions to help keep the program going.
