  1. A few more of the top ND seniors this year:

Austin Richard, Fargo South, OL, 6'4", 305

Cole Zarak, Wahpeton, OL, 6'3", 285

Reggie Stecher, Bismarck St. Mary's, kicker

Landon Smith, Dickinson Trinity, TE/LB (ex-Sioux Lee Smith's brother, I think)

Michael Arndt, LaMoure, OL/DL, 6'6", 260 (brother plays for NDSU)

    Lee Vandal, Rolla-Rock Lake, LB, 6'0", 210

    Adam Forsch, Washburn, OL/DL, 6'3", 240

    Chris Bauer, New Salem, RB/DB, 5'10, 160

    Austin Richard is a junior.

  2. Williston will have a tough team this year and will maybe show up at state this year unlike last season. The player from Williston that might go to Omaha Energy isnt from what I hear. Who else is leaving that you know of?

How are they going to replace Bruce? That is the big question.

  3. You are right on that, other than those three teams there is not much else to look at. Elite II has lost several potential players as several 89 birthyears are going to Omaha to play for the AAA Energy team.

The only one I had heard of was Parker Metz of South. Who are the others if you know?

  4. If rr can put 3 good games together they will be very hard to beat. even tho south has beat them twice so far, it is difficult to beat a team 3 times in a year, as witnessed by gpr beating rr in the edc tourney. i could definately see minot gettin bounced in the first round. they beat central at home, but in grand forks and with central's home fans there, this will be a difficult game for minot to win (although the garritson injury will hurt central). my prediction is a red river vs. grafton championship with rr winning

  7. We have heard opinions about who the best players are in the state but are their any opinions on the most under rated players in the East Region?

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Here's my list of most under rated players in the East.

Jake Stadstad, GFC: This kid has probably the quickest lateral movement in the state. He's very slippery.

Nick Klenow, Fargo North: He has some of the nicest hands in the state. If he gets on a breakaway he will more than likely score.

Grant Larson, Fargo South: Maybe not over rated as much as most improved. He was playing third or fourth line junior varsity last year and now is leading the Bruins in goals this year.

Gary Stensgaard, Fargo Shanley: Haven't seen him play yet this season but he has a ton of goals, which impresses me. He also has a ton of PIM, which doesn't impress me.

Marc Mihulka, GFRR: He played on the Elite League team with all the Moorhead boys and did ok from what I hear. He's a thick kid that can bury the puck.

Eli Rosendahl, GFRR: He is a back-up goalie that would start for most teams in the state. Made 38 saves on 40 shots against a high scoring Minot team.

  8. Scouting report on Charlie Bair: He can finish, I'll give him that and that's about it. Defensively he is nonexistent. For instance, he is a center and should be in the corner helping the defensman down low but instead is sitting at the top of the circles waiting for the home run. 'To make it to the next level you must be a defensive player who is reliable' (Sidney Crosby). Bair's physical game is very average. Montplaisir see's the ice well and can usually find Bair.
