That is a very painful disease. Hopefully they can get it under control in a timely fashion and he can return to the ice if not this year then next.

That place is amazing. I was very impressed. They have a ton of weight machines and cardio machines. They even have a massage therapist and even the general public can get massages from her.

Yes he has an offer for 07 to be Green. Who knows though. I am pretty confident that he will be on campus in 07, but I don't think we are out of the woods yet.

I am rather surprised that Johnson wasn't the pick as he seemed to have very good contacts throughout the USHL and AAA programs. I hope that Jackson is able to provide what the coaching staff needs from that position. Good to have him back with the Sioux. According to Schlossman's blog he was the head coach of the Adirondack Frostbite of the UHL last season. http://gfheraldsiouxhockey.blogspot.com/. Just scroll down to the first applicants and it has it there.

Isn't there one more Zajac that is younger than Kelly? I think someone mentioned him at some point on here. I think I remember that he is a 90 or 91 born so it would be a while until we even possibly saw him.

Im sorry mam but your argument isnt holding any water. I actually have a younger sister who is very involved in hockey, and i encourage her to keep playing. My point is that this program has had a few years to develop now and it isnt going anywhere. Their record isnt really improving any and neither is the attendance. The last think i would like to comment on, is your threatening remarks about your daughter slamming me into the boards. Not only is this uncalled for but it is also quite laughable...I challenge your daughter to slam me into the boards and look back and laugh when i fall into a heap on the ice. Quite frankly, i dont see this happening any time soon...sorry
If we get a coach with a different style then I think the program takes off and does well. I am waiting for that to happen. I along with many others on this board enjoy going to the games. You are entitled to your opinion but please don't put words in other people's mouths. Especially when you havent talked to any of them. Just because you dislike the program doesnt mean that everyone on this board does. As for the avatar checking you into the boards, I don't doubt that she would certainly try and quite possibly succeed at it. She is a tough one.

I thought that Winnett was down to Michigan and UND so if that was the case then we were certainly in the hunt for him.

on a side note, brady murray is still listed on the kings (other notables) list...do the same property of a player rules apply to brady since he is playing for jona rapperswil in sweden?? thx
He played in Switzerland last year as far as I know and is expected to return there next season

The Hockey News is good for NHL.

If it has been posted in another thread I apologize, but Aaron Marvin apparently committed to St. Clown. This according to Heisenberg. I really wanted the Sioux to get him. I figured that we would. Maybe we offered him as an 08 and SC offered 07.

Paul Colontino has left to take a job as associate head coach at Mercyhurst.
Is that a loss?
Yes
-
My memory isn't good though. Was he signed by Hartford or was he signed by the Rangers and assigned to Hartford (Yes, there is a difference)?
-
If we get Herbst as a coach I don't doubt that he could beat us again next year.
-
Schneekloth is up there on my least faves list
-
Murray Baron followed closely by Russ Parent. Mostly because they were my favorite players on the first few teams that I payed very close attention to as a kid.
-
There is also Kelly who is an 88 born who plays for the Winnipeg Thrashers midget team.

I am just concerned because Richie won't have been fired. If he had been fired, then the assistant would most likely be fired as well. But because he wasn't I am worried that Buning will just take the easy way out and promote Herbst.
-
Somebody please tell me that Buning won't hire Herbst. I am concerned that Buning will screw the program up even more by staying in house and hiring the assistant. That would almost be worse than Glas staying. I don't have any inside info and I don't know what the likelihood would be of this happening, but I am concerned. Talk me down off of the ledge please.
-
I bet that one of those two will not play for the Gophs next year
-
Take the offer Richie...PLEASE!!!!!
-
I don't think that we should scrap the program. Just start over with a new coach.
-
Zach Parise actually skipped a grade rather than accelerating his schooling.
-
Based on the numbers he can play a lot of shifts per game. Apparently he played 49.5 of a possible 51 minutes in a game not too long ago.
