Thanks for your concern.  I don’t know anything about him.  Other than when it’s brought up by the disgruntled crew about how good he is now or how Sather kicked him off the team for having a child to take care of.

There is some real angst among these posters about Sather.  Weird.

That is strange and odd behavior from some... hmmmmmm

Rhode, the guy that has started 27 games for an ACC team that is 23-9??? He’s being called unsuccessful??? Wow

    Never said he was "unsuccessful"

I guess if averaging 4.4 ppg makes him happy then I'm glad he found his goal for college hoops.

DAE is whatever, he had a successful season but has the off the court problems.

Moody I dont understand what all the hate is about. Took him time to figure it out but everyone at Montana loves him. Became a 1st team all conference guy.

I don't hate Moody- he hasn't played at UND since the calendar year of 2019, I hope he has matured, and it looks like he probably has, congrats to him on all conference. In his 19th year of college hoops

Filip only played 3 years at UND right? Not that it changes what you’re saying.

And for Rhode I don’t think we can judge it off of 1 year. They weren’t as successful as people thought but if the team has success the next 2 years it is worth the trade off.

Yes, you are correct, 3 years instead of 4.

Keep hearing UND fans talk about grass isn’t always greener and he’ll take a lesser role blah blah blah. Let’s look at the most recent D1 transfers for UND

DAE - First team All Big West

Moody - First team All Big Sky

    Rebraca - 3rd team All Big 10

Ethan E - played 26 mpg at CSUN

Tyree - started 60% of games at JMU, including 7 of last 8 games played. Just couldn’t stay healthy

Paul Bruns - transferred to be closer to home, starting on a Summit League team

Only player it didn’t work out for is Seybian Sims. Still not sure how he even ended up at another D1 program. Let me know if I’m forgetting someone but 6 for 7 or 85% found success at their new homes. Sorry if this defeats your narrative that people can’t have success outside of UND.

Rebraca- played 4 years at UND, graduated- no problem with him leaving especially with his academic goals he had for his last two years

Ethan- was at UND for 5 years!!!! - Graduated, it was time to move on

Tyree- it was so good at JMU for Tyree that he transferred back to UND.

Paul Bruns- 9th place team in Summit league

Andrew Rohde- Freshman of year in Summit- transfers to Virginia- averages 4.4 ppg on an average ACC team that probably won't make the NCCA tournament- fun! I'm sure he loves it

The guys that it has worked out for are the guys that have stayed 3-4 years and then go play their SR year in the P5 conferences (I.e Griesel, Scheierman, Nelson (I guess you can call this successful? He probably has hurt his "Draft Stock" more than helped it though)

DAE and Moody are laughable to use as examples. It took both of those clowns 3-4 years AFTER leaving UND and two schools each to figure it out.

Sorry if that hurts your feeling guys, as you both still read this.

What do you think Filip Rebraca has to say about transferring out? Took a lesser role his first year, stats all went down, but then got a bigger role his senior year. Played in march madness both years, won the big 10 one year. Got to experience playing against many different NBA players and in top college facilities across the country

I would argue that Filip is a better player than bj. And played 4 years at UND and graduated.

im not saying there aren’t instances where it’s a great decision.

im saying there are way more instances where it’s a net negative for literally everyone involved

Wait so if Bothun is moving to scholarship and Kraft is supposedly moving to scholarship, we technically have no scholarships available the moment? (Yes I know some will open up in the next couple of days/weeks)

My guess is Kraft only gets a scholly if multiple open up.

I am saying Tyree is not going to make the same mistake transferring again and staying here next year.  I also believe Treyson is chasing his uncles record and legacy. Money wont drag him away.  Amar and King have a home here and wont leave.   The only I think is on the fence is BJ.  I am hoping a scholarship opens up with Doppler leaving.

If Tyree leaves I don't think it will be to another school, it will be to go pro.

Treysen will have MM's trying to lure him away but it would be a huge mistake on his part... hopefully he listens to the right people.

BJ will leave, IMO and that is also a huge mistake on his part.

HMMMM  We in fact, did not play our best ball in March.....

    You hate to see it!

Love to see a guy go absolutely silent when UND is playing well and winning games... one loss in the conference tourney and here comes the loudmouth expert setting everything on fire again... who woulda thought

I was reliably informed he would be kicked off the team for this?

Yes, he will be suspended for Summit League tournament and then removed from the team in the offseason for this irresponsible act.. it has no place on this team

No way Osborn is right? Didn’t he break his wrist or something? Bruner I thought it sounded like Achilles? He was in a boot at the end of the game.

I have no idea on Osborn.

I saw Bruner go down but didn't know it was achilles... two years in a row denver goes into tourney without their best player.

I thought if two teams were tied the tiebreakers were

    1. head to head

    2. record against the next team in the standings.

    We split with UMKC

We split with St. Thomas and St. Thomas swept UMKC.

    KC split with sdsu

every minute brady is getting he would've gotten and he would've had a big big chance of actually playing in the national tourney but it was his choice to transfer back there and will soon be working at the local cenex.

Your obsession with Brady is outstanding.

that last shot goes in we would be saying what would brooks/mara bring to the table if they got 13 minutes instead of brady's tired stat line.

Brady has no business being on the floor. Plain and simple. Brooks should take all of his minutes. He does everything Brady does hustle wise but also actually has skill. And isn’t a literal traffic cone on defense. Don’t forget that traffic cone part

I would expect a guy that was role player for a naia team would be able to respect the things that Brady brings to the floor, guess I’m wrong
