I just now how recruiting works in the transfer porta era.. the dude has 50 schools contacting him and 10+ offers, has spent his entire life in Jamestown, ND... me thinks he's ready for something different... and that "different" isn't going to be in the Summit League. If he was going to play at UND or NDSU he would've done it 3 years ago.

If you two don't think UND has been in contact with the Walters family then you really are as clueless as I think you are.

If UND was one of the first to reach out to Walters and he voices that he will not consider going to UND, would you like UND to waste and inordinate amount of time recruiting a kid that isn't going to come here? He has 30+ schools reaching out to him.. newsflash, UND isn't going to win a recruiting battle like that, not now... not ever. That's just reality.

Reids former AAU coach is an assistant at UMC. Reid's girlfriend is at UND.

It is hilarious that a few people judge the recruits that Sather has brought in and say we don't have a D1 hoops team, and then the next thing you know they want our top priority to be a NAIA transfer... Mason Walters is a good basketball player and if he wants to come to UND you take him.. If he wants to go anywhere else you wish him luck.

So the Summit leagues main sport.. which is wbb and mbb.. should forfeit a guaranteed every year 50K-70K ticketed fans at their tourney so that ORU and WIU can host a conference tourney game on their home court? Plus.. Summit League headquarters are in SF. It's not leaving Sioux Falls for the foreseeable future.

The big 10 plays at the United Center in Chicago...

Every school would feel the financial impact of not having the tourney in Sioux Falls.
