It's an NLI (National Letter of Intent) not LOI and it has nothing to do with money. That is the financial aid agreement. Many places do offer discounts to the kids of U employees... I can't believe that a place like UND wouldn't offer at least a discount.

I agree Langen had a tremendous season - I think it is unusual for Freshman to make the daktronics all region squad. Maybe she wasn't nominated. Congrats to Kristi - she is fun to watch!

You can't base whether or not MSU is a good or bad team on that one game. Remember when the Sioux lost to Northern State and Southwest State? Besides it only matters what anyone does in the post season now.

This is a big weekend for the regional rankings going into the post season. I swear that if UND beats UMD they will move to #1 - it makes the most sense even if Regis doesn't lose again this weekend.

I can't believe that losing to an NAIA is 0 points but not negative points! I guess that the next best thing is to be 7-8 in the region if Regis Metro is 1-2

I would bet a lot of teams have an advantage over Regis and Metro when it comes to overall strength of schedule...

I'm sure he wasn't happy about it but at the same time he knows how it works now... I would also guess that he has to be pretty candid in public about what goes on during the meetings because I think it is supposed to be confidential. We'll see what happens... Looks like Metro or Regis will be 1-2, and what are the chances that they will actually fall out of the 1-2 spots by the end of the regular season? Just something to think about - it will be a really entertaining next few weeks

FYI for all of you who are so worried about the committee not being fair... Gene is on the regional committee...

It doesn't matter who they beat outside the region as far as GVST and Seattle Pacific... they also look head to head, and it does go week to week. So if UND split and MSU went 2-0 that always helps. The next three weeks will determine everything so it doesn't even matter who is ranked where right now because of who still has to play who... take care of business
