Next year we should be fine but i wouldnt pick them to finish 1 or 2, 3 would be the spot to be. It will be very hard to call next year between UM, DU, CC, UW and UND.

Fuher had about 2 or 3 nice pp snipes, Jones did have a nice backhand goal like around december, Spirko probably had the greatest goal of the year when he scored on the gophs.

If I was ever good enough to make the NHL or any junior league i would be trying to start a trend of wearing a full mask.
The half shield doesnt really do it for me either since you can just as easily get a puck or stick to the face or even your eyes with that kind of shield.
Good luck in your recovery Nick. Hopefully he can come back and play hockey for that AHL team next year.

I borrowed this from GPL. It's te ratings for the local players from last years select 16 festival. Mario was 16 and that Volpei from shattuck who has been talked about on here was 35th.
Another opinion on Brian Volpei. USHR rated him as the 35th best forward at last summers Select 16 festival.USHR wrote:

Not sure, but Marto did finish up there in points for a dman or forward even with 7 pts (3 goals and 4 assists) the leader in pts for the tourny is at 10.

TeamND lost 4-3 today to wisconsin but they outshot them by 8. Marto racked up another point. MN vs Wisco in the champoinship.

So far Team North Dakota is 2-1 and only lost to wisconsin 3-1 which isnt bad.

Anyone talking about how moreland hasnt played lately for the jets is right...he hasnt been but theres a good reason for that. He is the starting goalie for the Bismarck Bobcats. Haha sorry if somebody already said that but i just had to because it was bugging me.

They are talking about Matt Moreland the forward for the jets not Kasey Moreland the goalie for bismarck.

INCH is always getting facts messed up doesnt surprise me, i hear INCH is ran off Michigan campus.
