  1. Now I have never been to a woman's game but I was under the impression that there is no checking in woman's hockey? Just wondering.

A Sioux WOMENS team-I should have clarified.

There is not checking in women's hockey, but there is incidental contact.

  2. This team is more physical than a Sioux team has ever been. The intensity was pretty good in the OT last night. They had a few chances at the end to score, it just didn't happen. Hopefully they can get the win later this afternoon.

It will be interesting to see how the ladies stack up against the likes of Wisconsin, Duluth and Minnesota.

Remember, this team is mostly made up of Sophomores and Freshmen.......

  3. Did anyone die? No, but a lot of people are feeling awfully low right now. I don't think you can ignore it, nor can you rush anyone thru their own process of grieving (or at least adjusting to this settlement).

Point taken, but it's not like the nickname was retired this afternoon, I'm just more of a positive person than a negative one.

I just think that people are jumping to conclusions and giving up the fight, when it's far from over.

  4. I'm still laughing!! Amid all the disappointment from the 'settlement" and reading much of this thread, that was a classic!!

There were so many more posts that I wanted to make fun of, but I figured that people would get all upset.......I'm just trying to make light of the situation before people start taking their own lives.

I had the perfect line for "UND is not a whore" but I'm sure I would've offended Sioux-cia or something. LMFAO

  5. Seriously people, have a positive attitude about all of this......please. We don't know what anyone is thinking.

    *points to sig*

Too many of you want to jump off the bridge too early, too often.

Let it settle for a little while before you give up.

The glass is half full, not half empty.
