Perhaps Mr. Parise's abrupt decision to leave UND the Monday after the loss to DU weighed in on the decision just a wee bit. I'm no expert, but this is a college hockey award. Why would they award it to someone who is no longer enrolled in college and is on an NHL roster? Whether or not that's supposed to weigh in on the decision and whether it actually does are two different things. I thought Parise was a good player, maybe a little too afraid of taking a hit, but still good. Lessard is a good all around player, and he should be congratulated. Hope Parise enjoys his year off in 2004-05.

Not a bad article considering who wrote it. I will have to make it over to Whitey's in time for the drop tonight. That afternoon game business yesterday was not easy to contend with. The top seed should always play at night. This if UM is in, they play at night BS should come to an end. They'd put plenty of butts in the seats with the top team in the nation playing. Plus, more UND folk would probably be able to make a 7pm-ish game than one played during business hours. That's busch league, and much like the beer it's horse scat.

Gee. I wonder how the game would've turned out if they played it at the DECC. Must be awfully nice to host the WCHA every year in your home city. Can you say home ice advantage? Gee I can. And I can barely speak with this sore throat.
