You see, YaneA, we were poking fun at JohnboyND7 for being a Gopher "fan" but apparently not knowing the difference between "sky" and "ski" in the fight song. I was trying to be additionally amusing by using a popular saying in Kansas basketball, "rock...chalk...Jayhawk" and instead substituted "Gophers" for "Jayhawks".
I apologize for losing you...
Let's see if I've got this: Kansas is a state in the Midwest and basketball is a niche sport. Is that right?

Schlossman tweeted last night that the Sioux needed 1 more point or a Duluth loss to clinch home sweet home ice then sent a corrected tweet saying the team had clinched home ice for the playoffs for the 12th straight year. Either his second tweet is correct or gfhockey needs to start a "fire Schloss" thread.

Anyone else catch the debut of the Cup on Sweeney's sports report? It's right purty. He said although fans at the Ralph can see it this weekend they can't touch the Cup. That thrill reserved for NCHC's first champ.
