They fly back that day. So what? They are young strong college athletes. They’ll put their skates on and play that night and should be expected to play hard.
While talent is an innate natural ability, it needs to be developed with practice to become a skill. Scouts see that natural ability in their youth but it can (and often does) stop there. Do you see any of these Minnie kids playing in the NHL? I don’t. The skill development just isn’t there. Just a lot of very average hockey players.
I said before the Minnie series that they have a serious lack of talent, then got trashed by someone to remain nameless on this board for saying it. Well I’ll say it again, Minnie has no talent. They may end the season at the bottom of the Big 10. Who in that league is worse?
