Nope.....can't keep burying Perron in favor of Kunz. Kunz has 30 total points so far in his career at UND. Again DU had 11 guys with 30+ points this past season. Just for one season I'd like to see this coaching staff let their top talent roll. Let them develop together.

You mean like the CBS line? That makes too much sense to happen. I like Kunz, a really nice kid. I would like to see him on a “heavy line” with Strinden. Those two could do some damage in that role.

Amid all the anguish, jealousy, and frustration of watching UND exit early and DU hang another banner, there was some fabulous college hockey to watch in this Tournament.  And love of college hockey is an important reason why we are here.

You are absolutely correct!! The games were awesome. What amazed me the most was the fans of the game from everywhere else wearing their favorite school jerseys. GREEN was a predominant color in the stands, BC had a lot of fans and a really good pep band. Denver did have a respectable amount of fans and a pep band (who knew?).

Curious to know if you were cheering for Denver to win?  Wondering if the conference alliance is more important than a rival winning a championship.

We cheered for Denver tonight. They were in the big dance, they represented the NCHC. Wasn’t going to cheer for BC. It was very entertaining game and the DU fans were grateful for the support.

Michigan came out like a house on fire the first minute of the game and then BOOM! BC gets the puck and storms down the ice for a two on one and a goal a minute and 20 seconds into the game. They are so explosive.

The wrap around goal looked like it was in slow motion . You could see it coming from a distance and it was destined to go in. BC is the best team in the tournament. I hope Denver can make a game of it tomorrow.

I wanna say when I looked at seats for Sioux Falls it was 3 sessions but I could be wrong

2 sessions is correct, I still have unused tickets in my Apple wallet for Sioux Falls……

Which member of the CBS Line in 2016 is Blake better than today?

Better than Boeser was? Schmaltz? Caggiula?

    Their games were NHL ready.

Can we say that about Jackson?

And his last second hijinx against Michigan only helps serve the point.

Short answer to your 1st question- NONE

2nd question- NO, NO, and NO

I was curious about a couple of things, including the post that you quoted, as well as another that asked whether anyone has achieved less with more than UND.

If you look at the first round draft picks who played college hockey, all time, the numbers break down like this:

    Michigan - 33

    Minnesota - 26

    BC - 25

    Bu - 23

    UND - 20

    Wis - 18

    DU - 4

Yeah, that's right.  DU has four.

It's even funnier when you see how many some of these teams have had since they last won a national championship:  Michigan (27), Minnesota (19), BU (14), Wis (12), BC (11), UND (2), DU (0).  Now, one of these teams might very well win this year, with some first round picks on their team.  But it's pretty hard to say that UND has done the least with the most.

That’s an interesting metric! I would have never guessed this. The biggest thing for me is getting a bunch of kids to play as one unit. For them to embrace who they are and to play for each other. Watching Quinnipiac last year, they played like well oiled machine and had some luck besides…. I hadn’t seen that kind of play since 2016 at Amalie arena.

  8. The regionals were entertaining, except for our 3 period….. I am going to F4, no dog in the fight. BC should be the odds on favorite, won’t cheer for them or Michigan.
