I think the hype has gotten to Kessel, as he hasn't done anything since Norway, and that was five assists. With that being said, maybe he'll pick it up and start scoring goals
The difference here thus far, IMO, is that Canada is playing as a team. US players are trying to do too much on their own. Correction, Bouque ran into the official, not the blue line.
Sauer mentioned last night that Team USA players don't like their "form fitting" jerseys. Canada has the same type of jersey, but I haven't heard what their players think of the jerseys. No commentary on FSN!
Dish Network has it on a couple different channels too. Go USA! I'm getting goosebumps baby! It's almost game time. Let's go USA and Toews (have to cheer for the UND boys!).
I guess I haven't followed Russia or the Czech's, but does any other team have a player that has stuck out like Oshie has for the US? He doesn't have the stats, but if you watch/listen to the games, you see his value to the team.
I would say that's true though. He didn't have the best game against the Swiss, but he didn't play terrible either. He was all over the ice against Finland, and he played well against Norway too.
I agree. You would think they would look at every level that Zach has played at and succeeded at, and take some clues from that. However, the New Jersey team is really struggling right now to find any kind of light. Zach with the Devils right now is kind of like Jason Blake with the Kings. Things just didn't gel.
