  10. Webcast announcers talking about how good the Sioux have been the last 10 years. They just don't understand how demanding Sioux alumni are!

  16. Is everyone else's video jumping a little? I'm assuming there's a lot of people on the webcast.
  17. Watkins may be back sooner or for the opening round of the playoffs.
  18. They had bad weather in Denver today too, so that may contribute to it.
  19. Can't really talk bad about them.
  20. GG on DOT line, "We're going to go with Plan F tonight."
  21. Hak Pre-Game Comments: We didn't play a real intelligent game. From the start, it didn't seem like we had a lot of energy. That will happen with a team from time to time. It just compounded with the lack of intelligent play, lack of faceoffs, and turnovers. I thought we played a pretty good 2nd period. Last 10 minutes of the 2nd, we played sound hockey. In the 3rd, we went back to how we were playing in the 1st. Looked like maybe we were heading for a tie, but we played with fire all night. With what happened around the league last night, a point would have been important. We need to put last night behind us, and come back. Good teams put those games behind them, and come back the next night. Didn't see last night coming at all. We needed good play out of everyone. DOT line was extemely good. Denver did good against them. Those guys worked through it and made plays. We didn't have all our soldiers going last night, and we need to have that. We just need to play better, and that's the bottom line. We need to take care of the puck. We need to play aggressively. When you're mentally not on the edge, it's hard to do that. Watkins out will shift one guy on all lines except on DOT line. Foyt will be in lineup tonight. Couple of factors for Foyt over Forney. Game will be a physical game. Forney has a shoulder problem. Can't take a chance on going with 11 forwards if Forney gets hurt. Want Foyt to give us a solid presence. Phil gave us a solid effort last night. Gave us an opportunity when we weren't sharp to steal a point. He'll definitely be back in tonight. Last night put our backs against the wall and have to come out fighting and scrapping.
  22. Audio is up.
  23. SCSU leads Goofs, 1-0. Not liking how well St. Cloud's playing.
  24. Let's turn this to a more positive thread though! Go Sioux! Beat them Pioneers!!!
  25. Totally agree. DOT line could have probably scored one or two more, especially if Anderson wouldn't let players drape on them. It's frustrating to watch this team at times, such as last night, when you get the feeling that the only way we're going to score is if DOT is on the ice. I felt very uncomfortable last night when 2nd or 3rd lines were out there. This team can't rely solely on one line. That was our biggest problem in 2004 as well. The guys need to feed of the top lines energy, not simply wait for them to win the game for us. Everyone has to play defense. Most frustrating thing last night was watching our guys fall down midway or deep into our offensive zone, which resulted in an odd man break for Denver. Phil gave the boys the chance to win. With all respect to the DOT boys, IMO, Phil was player of the game last night. Dingle's backhand shot was unbelievable. On another goal (can't remember which one), he made the first stop, and Lee needed to take out the rebounding forward, which didn't happen. Yes it was a pretty big rebound, but in those situation, goalies job is to make the first save and let defensemen handle it from there. Phil did what he was supposed to, in that he gave the other guys a chance to win. The other guys just failed to cash in.
