  1. 6 or 7 brother combinations? I can think of that without writing anything down! C'mon boys! Glad to see Hak is focusing on one game at a time. Need to win Friday night! Thanks PCM!
  2. Parise adds an empty net goal, but it was a nice one, from center ice!
  3. Parise with an assist in tonight's Devils/Stars game. 23 points on the year thus far for Zach.
  4. I wouldn't say we couldn't do that, especially against a team such as Canisius. I don't think Hak would allow it. He kind of eluded to that after we beat Michigan Tech, 6-0. Didn't really think it was necessary to score more.
  5. I agree about Sauer. Michigan's game reminds me exactly what they did to us during the regionals last year, to get the early lead. However, after we made adjustments, we were just fine. Should be more of the same this year.
  6. Channel 414 on Dish. Starts at 8:30p.m. CT.
  7. I've watched a couple of their games, and they are a very fast team. They have a quick transition game and make that fast break pass, tape to tape, to spring a breakaway, very well! Their team speed is what scares me the most.
  8. Guess things could be worse. Watching the gametracker of Vermont/Maine and Ben Bishop has given up 2 shots on 2 goals in the 2nd period. Faced a total of 11 shots thus far and given up 5 goals.
  9. That's correct, but if you listened to Hak, he wasn't concerned with solely Phil, but the play of the team on those two goals...two issues that can be addressed, where the shot from center ice is a bounce of the puck issue and will happen to goalies from time to time; ex. Frazee. Yes, it's funny when it happens to him, but unacceptable when it happens to our guy.
  10. Correct. Hak wasn't nearly disappointed about that goal as the first two goals. His comment about that was that it's the bounce of the puck. Maybe you should go out there for a game CA.
  11. I almost typed that!
  12. PSDoors Scariest Moment of the Game: Sweeney's interview with PCM!
  13. Malone/Zajac/Frattin line was very quiet tonight. Need that line to click. Top line didn't have a great night (or weekend for that matter), but they did have some good opportunities.
  14. 4 shots in the 2nd, and the first one didn't come until quite a ways into it. Neither team played that great in the 2nd, but it's unacceptable. I'm sure Sandelin wasn't happy with his team's performance in that period, even though they did get a goal.
  15. I agree that this pre-Xmas hockey is getting old. I was a lot more worried last year at this time, and things just got worse in December. I'm hoping that we don't take that route again this year. Times like this is when I miss Blais. He had a great talent of turning his guys play around throughout the season. He'd also let you know, right on the radio, who he thought was playing lousy. It gave you a better perspective of what's running through the coaches mind. Hak has opened up more, but he still hasn't figured out how to get his guys to perform consistently prior to Xmas.
  16. Hak Post-Game Comments: We had a decent first period. The 2nd period is what hurt us. We didn't give ourselves a chance in the 2nd. Duluth played very good, and we knew they would do that. Came out of the 2nd down by 1, and it turns out, that's the difference in the game. We generated opportunities in the 3rd period, which is what you have to do against a team like Duluth, but you can't do it for 2 out of 3 periods. Duluth played very well, very hard, and that's what we expected. They did a good job. Like I said, you can't play 2 out of the 3 and expect to win in this league. After the mid-ice shot, and we still had opportunities after that. That's just a bounce of the puck. The other two goals allowed are issues that we can control. More disappointed with the first 2 goals. I'll go back to the 2nd period, we just didn't get anything accomplished. We had a total of 4 shots on goal. This is our home building. You need to take control in your own building. We said in the locker room that it was a critical period, and we didn't go out and play like it.
  17. Have you watched the last two season's?? We've been loaded both those years and eventually turn it around. Not surprised a bit yet. Not worried yet either.
  18. This has been a rotten day for Sioux sports.
  19. Giveaway gives Duluth an empty net goal.
  20. Have to love pessimists.
  21. At least one! 1 point is better than no points!
  22. Miller almost gets another one there.
  23. Vande pulled down. No penalty.
  24. Okay, but we don't need to give up mid-rangers.
  25. That one hurt.
