Wish I could watch the game on a national brand stream! At least I can listen to it on the radio! -
Great win!!! +10.5 line, win vs WCC team is much improved from game one vs Colorado State Some questionable substitutions with pairings on the floor at times. Still lack different looks on defense, especially the pick and roll. Top teams in the league took advantage of same look on defense every possession last year.
-
Who picked that date? That’s 7/8 games on the road. Playing the same team with no off day to recover from the travel. Then a home game vs Alabama! Wow! Tough stretch!

What offers did Treyson have in high school? ACU and UND???

Is there a reason why the write up online never has the game time posted in the article?
-
Does anyone know why we don’t press or trap or use our athletes to speed the game up when we have momentum??

Eaglestaff just gets abused on defense every game. Teams in the league take advantage

How many point blank misses do we have??

Can anyone stop dribble penetration? -
UND (8-5) vs. St. Thomas (8-5) 12/29 @ 7PM

Anyone notice how on defense every player just turns their back and follows their guy around. No one see their ball and man or gets in a passing lane. -

Same offense action or lack of! Same defense, can’t stop penetration! We might be the easiest team in the conference to scout and prepare for! Not much physicality getting pushed around. -
See why hong never plays!!

Omot & Eaglestaff 8-31 fg, 2-11 3pt fg, 2 reb, 3 assist Going to get out rebounded if you don’t make buckets. Not the best shot selection at times with bad action. Too many empty positions in a row when you’re playing from behind. A set play would be nice once in awhile instead of the same spots and movement every position. -
UND (2-1) @ Pacific (2-2) 11/20 10PM

Road wins are hard to come by!! Possessions early in each half with zero passes and movements. Some guys did get to the bucket well and finished! We were one of the worst defensive teams in the summit league last year. Hopefully we start add some different looks or the league will pick us apart. Unable to guard anyone with the ball in their hands. Need to add some versatility and adjustability on both ends. Scouting us is easy, same stuff different year. Great “W”, continue to grow! -

Would be nice to show a different defensive coming out of half time to make them adjust for a few positions. -
Noticed that nothing was posted on UND social media. Great PR to have for recruiting. Young student athletes live on their phones today. https://x.com/low_madness/status/1679515023712894976?s=46&t=8SNTpzEsaYK7oa8I6HxT0Q

That would be a poor decision! waste a year of eligibility for a few min during the season. One would think that none of them will play a significant role this season.
-
Hopefully all the youngsters understand that going to a power 5 team at this point in their careers would really hinder their development. Going to a different mid-major would be a lateral move and not give them any options or opportunities to capitalize on a good year to move up a level (P5). Staying another year at UND would give them all a chance to develop faster with a level of comfort and familiarity with coaches, teammates, and system. All of them could give themselves better opportunities in another year after raising the program up from the bottom. All eyes would be on them them!

Have to overcome a lot today!! Missing Bunnies, bad Officiating! -
UND has lead at the half in 5 of the 7 previous games. They have 3 freshmen who have a chance to be all conference players. (Elijah, BJ, Treyson) The team has been in every game and one could argue a chance to win each one. unfortunately the record does not reflect what we all would want This team has improved and shows it can compete at the top of the conf, they have very little D1 experience and are learning on the fly The team has one 5th year player while the top teams have multiple players. Hard to look ahead, but the league rosters will look completely different next year. Players typically grow the most between their freshmen and sophomore year! Having to deal with Covid players and NLI. Next season things will return to a more normal NCAA. This program needs to keep intact and continue to grow.
