  1. I've thought about it long and hard, even had trouble sleeping at first last night. I've come to the conclusion that I think even if the Twins petitioned MLB to be moved to the National League they would still somehow find a way to get swept out of the divisional round by the New York Yankees.

  2. And now they’re giving up homeruns to defensive substitutes. This is comical:lol:

EDIT: smoltz brought up in games one and two how the Yankees kept putting up crooked numbers while the twins were putting single runs on the board. Twins pitching finally holds the Yankees bats out big innings and the bats can’t do a dang thing....

Sure looks like Odorizzi is done as he is getting hugs in the dugout and I disagree with it. I'd let him start the 6th and see if he can get through it. Rogers was the one warming up in the pen and I can't see him pitching the final 4 innings.

Similar to what he did with berrios in game 1. Overthinking it when your starter has really settled in...

  4. And odo deserves so much better tonight. One mistake barely cleared the fence. I was taking a leak when cave apparently caved a ball in the outfield otherwise who knows if that run makes it around....

  5. The longer the offense stays quiet I just keep thinking how awful garver has been in this series. Cruz and sano each have one big hit that resulted in a single run each. Wasn’t expecting much from kep coming off of the injury but he’s been pretty worthless besides some walks.

Lets see if the can break through against the bullpen...

They're trying to set all the team records for playoff futility. Already have the most consecutive losses, now going for most consecutive losses versus one opponent.

I wish I was surprised but I’m just not anymore...

So the white flag goes up with Gibby.....

I will never understand Littell and Stashak in those situations.

It’s not like there’s a bunch of postseason experience on this roster but man, I’m with you. Do you really want to throw those two guys into the bright lights in a tie and one run ballgame respectively?

I was alright with going to the bullpen to start the 5th but not Littell. I thought it was a sure thing Duffey would start the inning. If the option was Littell or Berrios to start the 5th I would've just seen what Berrios could do coming off his best inning of the night.

Agreed. It’s a bit of hindsight I’ll admit. But my first thought was “why littel?”.
