And now they’re giving up homeruns to defensive substitutes. This is comical
EDIT: smoltz brought up in games one and two how the Yankees kept putting up crooked numbers while the twins were putting single runs on the board. Twins pitching finally holds the Yankees bats out big innings and the bats can’t do a dang thing....

So Gibby now? Right Rocco?
Why not? Give him one last chance to let down his home fans lol

Why didn't their left fielder make a head first dive and let it by him? Is that not normal?
It’s only normal if cave switched teams between innings.

Okay Kepler.....big moment.....Britton likes to go hard inside. Great time to wear one.....
Watch him hit a bomb now that the Yankees have finally added on....

And of all people my boy Cron gets on to start the 7th

Lol....and a warning track fly ball....
That’s the World Series cred we’ve been hearing about all year...

Sure looks like Odorizzi is done as he is getting hugs in the dugout and I disagree with it. I'd let him start the 6th and see if he can get through it. Rogers was the one warming up in the pen and I can't see him pitching the final 4 innings.
Similar to what he did with berrios in game 1. Overthinking it when your starter has really settled in...
-
And odo deserves so much better tonight. One mistake barely cleared the fence. I was taking a leak when cave apparently caved a ball in the outfield otherwise who knows if that run makes it around....

The longer the offense stays quiet I just keep thinking how awful garver has been in this series. Cruz and sano each have one big hit that resulted in a single run each. Wasn’t expecting much from kep coming off of the injury but he’s been pretty worthless besides some walks.
Lets see if the can break through against the bullpen...

Bs strike call probably saved us from another bases loaded letdown

This seems too generous to me.

They're trying to set all the team records for playoff futility. Already have the most consecutive losses, now going for most consecutive losses versus one opponent.
I wish I was surprised but I’m just not anymore...

Two days in a row Duffey is unable to clean up someone else’s mess.
-
Ugh, Tanaka pretty much dealing since having a couple on in the first.
-
Gibby: that went about as well as you’d expect.

So the white flag goes up with Gibby.....
I will never understand Littell and Stashak in those situations.
It’s not like there’s a bunch of postseason experience on this roster but man, I’m with you. Do you really want to throw those two guys into the bright lights in a tie and one run ballgame respectively?

And garver stinks tonight.

Now Stashak?
Hindsight again, but not who I thought would come out of the pen next.

I was alright with going to the bullpen to start the 5th but not Littell. I thought it was a sure thing Duffey would start the inning. If the option was Littell or Berrios to start the 5th I would've just seen what Berrios could do coming off his best inning of the night.
Agreed. It’s a bit of hindsight I’ll admit. But my first thought was “why littel?”.
-
And littel can’t find the strike zone. Only time he did judge hit one a mile just barely foul
-
Do you send berrios out there for one more inning?
Twins ?

I've thought about it long and hard, even had trouble sleeping at first last night. I've come to the conclusion that I think even if the Twins petitioned MLB to be moved to the National League they would still somehow find a way to get swept out of the divisional round by the New York Yankees.
