Great effort by the Sioux thus far, in that they are getting virtually tackled every time they get to the net, with no penalty calls, yet they can't touch a Gopher. Total joke. Final PP's should be something like 26 or 27 to 9 by the end of the third. Punching after the whistle and diving is in full force for the Gophers.

Played with Kaip and Fabian, but he appeared to be the high man (probably by design with his injury), as Kaip and Fabian did most of the forechecking. He stayed away from the hits for the most part.

Robbie Earl has several brothers, and they're all Gophers.

Kaip and Fabian have been doing a good job on the forecheck. Really the only sustained time in the Gopher end other than on the PP. Although the Gophers did not sustain the pressure in the Sioux end like they did in period 1.

Woog and Mozacco called it a cross check on a Gopher, although that didn't happen either. Totally bogus. Gophers have picked up on Campion's quick whistle, the diving has begun. Obviously they won't allow the game to become the Denver/Mn series last weekend. The Sioux were outplayed that period, but are still in the game, fortunately.
