    Love the new changes and ideas. Glad to finally see someone putting some effort into the gameday experience. Only thing I don’t like is changing the time to open tailgating....I’m so excited for the season to start I want to be in the parking lot at 8am the first day! Haha

    Tents can be nice for shade on hot days an possible rain. If you get used to setting up a tent and get a good system to hold it down I’d say it’s worth it to have. A grill and cooler and table/bar make life always better. Throw in some games to play and it’s a great time. Here is the rig we use, works awesome.

    After that NAU game Keaton earned my all time respect. Great game manager and in my opinion we didn’t use him right. Yeah he couldn’t throw the long ball accurately so why not throw to our tight ends or work some screen passes in? With Rudy doesn’t seem like he ever adjusts his game plan. Yeah two years ago our offense was top in the league but other DCs change and adjusted while we sat and ran the same old thing over and over and over. Never seems to adjust anything.

    Can’t wait for the 30th! Even with the year we had last year the hype for this season for me is damn never, if not more, then the levels it was before last season started. Having Harris back is huge, the qb competition going on and all the other buzz around this team is great! Got the tailgate rig out last weekend to do some touch up repairs and some upgrades! Really excited about that. Was gonna ask what everybody thinks about a couple of ge changes they’ve made to tailgating this year? They changed the layout of the lots up and I do like that, our spots are a lot closer now which I like! Not a fan of the lot opening up 5 hours before game, I like it last year where you could come early!

    the thing is our offense didn’t really change once last year. Didn’t change when we were getting blown out by SD, not when we knew our playoff hopes were gone, and even the last few games where we as fans just wanted a win or two or at least some excitement to come watch. Just the same old boring offense. I’m not saying fire up the original PlayStation on the sideline, throw in NFL Blitz and take some plays from there. I’m saying maybe try some different formations, see what you have in an Alex Cloyd, a screen game, or what your most dynamic player can do in the slot. Just wanted to see something.

    Also managed to get us a 3 win season last year. I agree we have two awesome running backs, hell we have 3 with JJ. Why can’t we have an offense that can get at least two of them on the field at the same time? Let opposing DCs try to figure how to stop that.

    I’ve always been a Rudolf doubter and some of that blame is starting to shift to Bubba. It’s not only the predictability of the run, run, pass on third and long offense. Sending our smaller quicker faster guy up the gut with a depleated OL. It’s also when we are behind by a couple tds or so and there is always a slight chance to come back the play calling seems like it’s more in the mindset of “don’t try to win, just try not to loose by a lot”. The biggest thing with the offense staff for me last year was when Keaton went down mid game. Both Brad and Zimmerman came in for relief, whoever really thought in their head that Brad was the better qb and deserved the start next game should not be employed in the game of football anymore.

    I still have a lot of faith in this team this year. My prediction is either gonna go 8-3 and make playoffs or 7-3 and just miss out

    I agree Bubba might have just slowly turned this into a fire Bubba thread. Loyalty is good in pre school with finger painting and not running a division 1 program. Gonna be hard for a recruit to want to come here if the top guy is  happy with being mediocre and doesn’t think there’s a problem, injuries weren’t the only reason we sucked this year. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the guys would consider transferring either, we have three studs in th backfield with an offensive system that doesn’t know how to use them, it’s frustrating for us fans to watch can’t imagine what goes through their head at times.

    I agree we should look to get a guy like Santiago in space on a screen pass. And also why on earth would we not target Cloyd more at TE, I know our offense never targets tight ends or rbs out of the backfield, but with these kind of weapons an offense needs to adjust to that and get out of our old habits!!
