Tyler Roehl. Couple former players of theirs said he is the real deal when asked who of the assistants stand out. He knows the system that works. Don’t believe it’s likely though as I think he could be their next HC. Really hope Chaves would try though.

Let’s work on counting together.

It’s been 6 years. If the REA can get a newly renovated locker room and scoreboard, the Alerus Center can get some new turf for Christ’s sake.
UND is going into a new conference. Turf needs MVFC logos and new end zone font/color badly. Most importantly, get a damn midfield logo for the Fighting Hawks!!
Agree, get the logo.

Well, Kennedy’s gone.

For those who have attended, who is playing NG and how are they doing?

Awesome. Welcome Caleb and Chandon. Nice job coaches, major wins for the D.

Guess on crowd size?

Was thinking the Bison route myself, as much as it pains me to have to beg your arch enemy for help.
Know a former and a current player for them. When they were asked who on the staff has the chance to really move up in coaching they both stated Tyler Roehl. Said he really gets it and really works well with the players and has the leadership mentality. Include the fact that he’s seen firsthand what processes it takes to win championships.

F it. Fire em all.

Changing subject a bit. I haven’t heard anything on how OL Kruse and Jenkins are developing. They’ve got size for sure. Anyone have info?

So, today's print version of the GF Herald has a full page write-up of the UND vs. Griz game from last week. Epic failure!
You think that’s a failure? Google their website and click “sports”. Top three stories are about the Yellow Cattle fb team.

We'll see how I feel in a couple days, but this loss feels different than any other one during the Bubba era. I always was able to find an excuse in the past (they are building, injuries), but the go to excuses aren't there. Bubba and the team again had a real opportunity to really grab the momentum this program had after last week and again, weren't able to. It being Homecoming really hurts. I don't know if there's any coming back from this one.
This is exactly how I feel. I’m done. Bubba is a great person but he and his staff can’t coach their way out of a wet paper bag. I wanted to believe but the evidence is too great now. We’ll be the laughing stock of the MVFC. I hope Chaves makes the change before the end of the year to make the rest of recruiting happen under a new head coach.

For 3 quarters we were banging with a top 10 FBS team. If the offense could have come up with a couple of long drives with points it would have been a game til the end. Other than kicking I am very encouraged.
I, for one, agree with you.

Gotta tell ya, NDSU isn’t exactly a cure for arrogance.
Couldn’t agree more on their fan base. The coaches, however, certainly seem to be finding the right balance.

I was impressed with the guy when first hired. I thought it to be a tough sale to convince Bubba to give him a chance at such a young age. I think he fails to connect with the players for one. I also think (I don’t know) that he’s a little arrogant and is not learning from his mistakes. He’s not eating his humble pie. Just keeps banging his head against the wall. In my opinion.
Kid from my hometown was courted as a PWO 2 years ago by us and ag U. He chose ag U. I asked his dad why. Response: kid loved Schmidt and Bubba and liked UND academic better, however, he’s a tight end and he couldn’t bear the attitude of the position coach—Kostich. Kid is the complete ND farm kid—humble, hard working, polite. He couldn’t picture being led with arrogance. That sealed it for me. Kostich can’t connect and lead, he needs to go.

Why in the world can't we organize a decent kickoff coverage - it's not rocket science.

Ugh. I preferred to be blissfully ignorant a little longer. Here’s to the o line proving this wrong.

It’s valley news live. Same as nbc. In other words the bison propaganda machine.

I looked through entire updated roster. Did not see Kyle Hergel.

Ok, not 360, but is anyone else having trouble with UND sports app? I open it and all I get is a white screen. Deleted and reloaded twice. Is it my iPhone 8?

It’s no small coincidence that after Chaves was hired the 2016 Big Sky Champs got their rings. He deserves credit for making things right.
I hope you are correct as it would bode well for the football program. He came from a football school and I hope his focus remains there.

Rain Slater. If he could step up like Grady his freshmen year, that would move the needle on expectations for the team.

I can't find it right now but I believe that on SU's depth chart going into spring ball seven of their top 10 offensive linemen were from ND. Unbelievable!
Cody Mauch went to them as PWO at 6’6” 220 for TE. Now is 270 and being evaluated for tackle. Cody had a wide frame that could obviously hold additional weight effectively. Their player development is obviously effective and we need to get there.

Holy crap, good to see something positive. Well done coaches. Welcome to the team, Mike. Wish you the best.
