decent point but like you said, not even close when you bring up numbers so im not sure if this is the right route to compare. matt is still a multi millionaire and will have tons of endorements being the 10th pick...with jordy we are talking thousands not millions but like you said as well, you have to strike when hottest if you are a undrafted free agent.

of course he will be in the AHL then move up like any other player , and yes if you personally think you will recieve your top contract as a non drafted free agent then yes it is worth leaving early. no doubt about it in my eyes. its a tough situation as a fan but most of these kids are at UND to prepare for the pro ranks and jordy has done that very well. either way he has been a great person and goalie at UND and whatever he chooses to do he will succeed. i have thought since the frozen 4 ended that jordy was gone and stickin with it. no other reason other than he has turned into a hell of a goalie from where he started out and i feel he is ready to go pro. if he does leave then its phils time to shine and i have full confidence that he will be great and if he does get a shot he may play 30 games and be the main and only option depending on what other goalie we get to replace jordy. either way i cant wait for october..........

i say 1 of them will and he plays for UND.....oshie no reason, just a hunch, actually i could see all 4 going pro as all 3 teams (as st louis may take one of the big 3 in johnson, toews, kessel) who will own these guys may want them now

thats great but unless your family or very very very close friends with jon, those words do not mean anything. im not saying hes lying or anything like that as he may be completely commited on coming back but we do not know what pick he will be taken at and the intensions of that team that takes him, thats all. i know very well how pro teams operate when it comes to prospects and lets just hope the team that picks him wants him back in school for 1 more year because thats all we get. not bashing you at all with your report from talking with jon because its nice to hear stuff like that. i think jon will be back but as we all now its never certain.

yeah it sucks but tears, not for me. we are loaded with talent and will be for the next few years and will be very excited for this coming year regardless of who is in our lineup.
