just watched the sioux boosters presser today online and hak said malone had a minor surgery over the break. im guessing a scope and that tj oshie has battled back through some tough injuries and has made great strides and is ready to go.

yes all nhl rookie contracts are like this with incentives. some get hit and some dont depending on the players year and what type of numbers he puts up. toews will cash in along with kane. its the 2nd contract that sets you up for life. this system trumps the dumb ass nfl system where the players get 20-30 milliion up front before they sign a contract as no nfl contracts are guarenteed so they push for so much up front. the nhl and nba systems are good to the fact that rookies still have to prove themselves to get that big 2nd contract

right now we cant put a goalie in net saying if he doesnt hurt us then maybe, there is no way of knowing that and not worth the risk by any means. no way. these are huge games when it comes down to ncaa seeding and so forth. we are basically tied with UNH in the pairwise with thewm ahead by a little i believe so this isnt the time to start walski. i dont see him starting 1 game this year and thats fine. lets go sioux

i hear ya. players like this only come around so often and i wish he was just a bit older to be in this draft so we can see him in the nhl sooner. oh well. the race for the top 09' draft pick is on does it go by record in the nhl or is there a lottery? or was the lottery just a exception coming out of the lockout?

canadas john tavares will just miss the cut off for this years draft. bettman needs to let this kid in, if so hes the top pick without question and the next great youngster in the nhl. the more young stars the nhl has can only help the game overall. come on buttman!

havent heard of any injury from forney. he hasnt been playing for the most part as a healthy scratch. he wouldnt be able to take one as well as we are past that point of the season where you could take a redshirt.
