nice, and canada is up 3-0 on denmark http://www.channelsurfing.net/

thanks, at least you can see whats happening, other gopher fans are so halarious. it will take beating the teams you should beat but in reality msu, umd, uw and others are right there in the pairwise with the gophers. then it will take a couple huge wins vs top wcha teams that you have left on your schedule at the right moment. the wcha wont take a huge hit form the loss and the tie but in the end those could screw up the gophs for sure. will be interesting to see how things play out
-
yeah, well s&!t happens. happended to us at sconnie and happens to all teams. just take care of the AHA teams for petes sake and then go form there. kangas should be your #1 goalie for sure. no reason to put frazee out there really. we arent concerned for you and your team, just like college hockey and thats what this thread was made for. best of luck making the tourney though. i know you were shorthanded this last weekend and lost your best player for the season but AHA teams compared to your wcha schedule is a joke. if you cant open your eyes and see what most gopher fans see then thats just to bad.

its not good for the wcha at all but oh well, at least it was minny after tonight we are in 9th with umass making a move up and northeastern 1 spot. that northeastern win is looking better every weekend that passes. msu is tied with minny at 15th, nice push lately for msu for sure. helps the wcha. duluth at 12th and uw at 13th. http://www.collegehockeynews.com/ratings/ncaapwcr.php

cc and umass heading into OT in their holiday title game..go CC, get that wcha win CC loses in OT , umass is tied with the sioux in the pairwise so will be interesting to see if anyone moves later tonight

gophs tie but win the shootout
-
come on bob, 2 of us dont need to be wasting our time posting these updates this goes down as a tie 2-2 in the books. not a good tie for minny to say the least. bad weekend cc is tied 4-4 late 3rd in their title game gophs win shootout
-
i think the defense of teams have something to do with goals as well, great start for jonny
-
all woog talks about when the gophs play the AHA team is how they have older players and canadians. what a toolbag he is. holy cross - check..........RIT - check...........Air Force tonight? we will find out..........
-
thats option #2, freezing frazee
-
very true, its actually a double hit in the pairwise. losing to not so great team and then having to play another in that category just to stay afloat and in the end not getting the chance at a top 16 pairwise team like you mentioned
-
yeah its standard for these holiday tourneys....just dont crap the bed in the first game vs usually a very lower tier oppenent then it wont matter
-
i think they do it for most home tourneys really. they schedule a holy cross type pattsy but then screw the pooch and get the 3rd place game at night. i think its a norm for any xmas tourney

FINAL at the ucci in the title game BC 6 RIT 0 FINAL at ohio st tourney 3rd place game live stats SCSU 4 HARVARD 1 shootout in 3rd place game at the ucci never gona get this 2 1/2 hours back in my life. just as exciting as paint drying, maybe. this will go in the books as a 2-2 tie but will end in a shootout for that all important 3rd place trophy. the AHA likes playing minny UMtc 2 AIR FORCE 2 FINAL YALE 1 MINNESOTA STATE 4 3rd period title game of lightning classic in florida CC 4 MASS 4

you may want to edit the MILLER goal option, its brad miller, not ryan miller who robber panzer of the hobey
-
first off - hell of a great thread!! i voted for hobey duncan, i saw it in person which was a nice pick me up form the thursday night loss to BC, great choices... gotta love the 180 footer and the porter wrap around special, no explanation needed

i like genoway at forward right now with marto in the lineup at D. jones is a important d man. not all D men score and are offensive threats. you need a mix and thats why jones is in every night. keep genoway at forward this season and keep that 6 D the same with marto in every night. i like that group and i like genoways skills wherever he is and i think he gives more out there than our last 2-3 everyday forwards.

i think the situation is pretty obvious. i understand what you are saying but we are riding phil. he hasnt blown any games by himself and continues to play pretty well overall this season. if phil goes down then things could get very interesting but lets remember who walski is. hes a 3rd string walk on that has done the right things over the years to be where he is right now. yeah i know a few people here say he stopped a milion pucks in a state title game so why not play him but phil isnt the problem we cant get sweeps. its a team effort overall. hes a walk on 3rd stringer that is a 2nd stringer now for a few reasons. if he was a backup that hak thought was ok to play, he would have maybe played a game already. i want our #1 guy in every game no matter what and thats phil. maybe he gets a start vs bemidji state but then again, thats a important non conference game. phil will play every game this season unless the wcha standings are set in stone before the final series then maybe, but probably not. i understand the iunjury factor for sure but otherwise theres no reason not to play phil go sioux

Im thinking we will run off the next 8 in a row and go into minny with a 8 game win streak, just call it a hunch
-
OK, we will be back in action for next weekend. BYE WEEK TEAMS for January 4,5 - MSU-DU-UAA 5 more weeks of regular season fantasy play and then 4 weeks of playoffs. Top 16 teams make playoffs then it goes to head to head format for the playoffs.

another one of these ey goon

NEW YEAR, NEW RESULTS.....you know how the mott is SWEEP at home and split on the road, well lets start it in reverse. lets sweep on the road and split at home til march
-
Well, another split vs UNH. Lets got to St Cloud, play 2 full nights of hockey and get some very important wins and points Sioux are coming off a home split to UNH and SCSU lost saturday night to #1 Miami 2-1 in overtime and beat Harvard on Sunday 8th in pairwise rankings Overall Record: 9-7-1 (.559) WCHA: 6-6-0, 12 points Home: 5-4-0

cool, deal......... i fell ya, the worse part about tonight is that we had the damn lead and was holding it nicely then all of a sudden BAM, it was gone. shouldnt happen at all like that. been a strange season for sure.
